That’s a type of dementia.
So the answer the question is they do.

- Comment on better paying job dealing with egos vs peace of mind job that pays poorly. I'd be taking a 20% financial hit. Worth it? 1 week ago:
I used to work in medicine and the docs would all say that Nurses eat their young. Nursing is a rough job.
I don’t have any way to give you a yes no answer on taking the 20% cut.
Your calculus is:
- Can you afford it?
- How would that negatively change your lifestyle?
- What is the stress total stress level reduction?
The salary difference is 21K, That boils down to a 612 reduction a pay check using 30% tax etc rate. Also I imagine your place has a 401K or some other retirement annuity that they do percent matching on, so what will the decreased pay do to that?
Can your monthly bills absorb a 612 reduction?
A 20% cut will cause X amount of stress in your life. Is that X amount less than the reduction of stress the new position will offer?
The kick in the ass is, when you make enough money it doesn’t matter, when you don’t make enough it is all that matters.
I did not take a 20% cut but I once took a job that was a pay cut and smaller future earning potential than the one I had because it offered me a better QoL.
It was so worth it… but again it was no where near a 20% reduction.
Here is an option. Can you take the 20% reduction and pick up OT or another part time job to offset?

The title does not match the review.
The review says the movie basically has a fairy tale view of dating.

I am trying to get my mind how anyone could consider that a compliment, or how anyone could be a big enough asshole to say that to someone.

I think the sexual stereotypes are is that men hit And women tend to abuse through mental anguish.
Mental anguish is harder to portray on a screen than someone beating the fuck out of you.
- Comment on What bottles/containers should I use for shipping from sea level to places at higher altitudes? 1 week ago:
Sea level to very high elevations is not going to break any bottle. chances are what’s happening is the bottles are getting damaged during the shipping process.
I would find a way to pad the bottles with you know some something like a shipping peanuts or torn up newspapers or something of thatnature.

I live in the US and I am almost 60.

I keep wondering when will people stop buying the lie of tax cuts……

Should you feel embarrassed no.
Parents introducing their kids to romantic partners has happened since the dawn of time.
The difference here is how you are being told about it.
The hardest part of parenting is figuring out when the kid needs a hug, a challenge or just a swift kick in the ass.
This looks to me like a parent providing for his kid.

I don’t know if they still do them or not, but Phillip Morris used to do tours of their factory outside Petersburg VA.
I did the tour as part of class I was taking. It was interesting to see how cigarettes were made. One thing the tour guide kept stressing was all these perks and things they did to make the work less boing/miserable for the workers.
- The company put a lot of effort into sound suppression systems so the staff aren’t pommeled with harsh sound all day.
- The company had multiple small lunch and break rooms so people could get a bit of privacy if they wanted.
- The rotated staff on the machines so they don’t go insane with the boredom.
As a college kid you are just learning about the world so while I knew people smoked and back then smoking was a lot more in your face.
I really didn’t get how many people smoked until I saw that factory. It was staggering how many cigarettes were in at places and how many that factory churned out daily.

The big box hardware stores, Home Depot and Lowe’s have sort of set the standard. There are a few ID cards that they accept as proof.
At the end of the day it is up to each store how they handle it.
