- Comment on Is Flappy Bird a good game? 16 hours ago:
Omg yeah EQ and DAoC were not low effort at all. EQ was a total commitment.
Just getting a group to slaughter random mobs took time commitments.
… and raiding… HAHAHAH
Such good times.
- Comment on Not looking for how to meth. But is not a moonshiners still about as dangerous as a meth house exploding? What the difference? 18 hours ago:
A moonshiner’s still exploding is when someone spills an accelerant on a fire or a steam explosion. That is contained and doesn’t leave toxic shit everywhere, where as cooking meth is mixing poisons with poison to make a new poison.
- Comment on Is Flappy Bird a good game? 18 hours ago:
Yeah it is great!
I think of games like Flappy Bird and Lemmings as grinding.
Back when I used to play MMOs a lot , EverQuest, WoW and Dark Age of Camelot, sometimes it was just so nice to mindlessly grind after work.
It was a relaxing low effort thing to do to get my mind off of things.
It is one of the things I love about God of War 2018. There is a whole realm that is just about grinding the same area over and over again. You didnt have to do the area for the main storyline but it was there is you just wanted to mindlessly grind.

Yes the FDIC OC ERS per depositor, per insured bank, for each account type (e.g., single, joint, IRA). Multiple accounts of the same type at the same bank are added together.

- Comment on If Tyler Perry is a billionaire with his own successful movie studio then why are his films so bad? 5 days ago:
I’m Confused as to why you’re so convinced the bride would be amazing If it had A tiny budget but hey whatever.
- Comment on If Tyler Perry is a billionaire with his own successful movie studio then why are his films so bad? 5 days ago:
I am certain on your first paragrapgh, but absolutely on your second.
- Comment on If Tyler Perry is a billionaire with his own successful movie studio then why are his films so bad? 5 days ago:
Tyler Perry is very open and honest about one thing when it comes to his movies. This is his quote. I super serve my base.
He knows exactly who likes his movies and what they like and he makes movies for them. He doesn’t give a fuck his words about what anyone outside of his base audience thinks of his products.
I think his movies are shit, but I am not in his base audience clearly neither are you
Now, with all that said , there has never been a correlation between the quality of a movie and it’s financial success. yes many great movies are financially successful but pulling numbers out of my ass 10 times that terrible movies are equally financially successful.
Also, a lot of making money in movies is about understanding the finances and business of making movies. Perry has mastered the ecosystem of movie sales.

Yeah, as much as the Internet wants to believe otherwise I don’t think the Epstein Files are really all that important to anyone in any power.
You are correct. Nobody involved here has a plan. I mean Israel’s stated Objectiveis total victory yet Netanyahu’s Governmentcan’t articulate. What the hell that is…

- Comment on What the fuck is going on with Iran and what will happen next? 6 days ago:
So it’s very hard to illustrate all this in an online forum thread… So I’m gonna try and sort of simplify…
Israel has been very concerned that Iran will develop nuclear weapons, as they should be.
Iran has been executing a proxy war against Israel for 50 years.
Part of that proxy war involves a number of different organizations, one of which is basically in control of Palestine.
The Obama administration negotiated a treaty with Iran that lifted a number of sanctions if they allowed international inspectors to prevent them from enriching uranium, which is a key step in creating nuclear weapons.
The Trump administration in partnership with Israel View that as an absolute disaster.
So they ended the agreement. Which basically opened the door for a Iran to enrich uranium.
Israel has been wanting to bomb Iranian nuclear production sites for decades.
All those sites are underground.
The only country with the ability to bomb shit underground and destroy it is the United States.
One of the most dynamic military leaders in the history of man was an Iranian general who organized and managed that broad coalition of different organizations against Israel. It really is a feat and how well he managed and did all that.
The US military killed him in an airstrike.
The US military has destroyed……. Wow, bombed a number of the facilities that iran is enriching or uranium in.
The US military has also killed a number of the political leaders in Iran that’s what’s really messy.
You have to leave the guys alive to turn things off…. There’s no one left to turn things off

There is no way anyone made reservations under normal rates.
The locations of FIFA games are set 8 years in advance. Hotels know the value of what they offer.
- Comment on FIFA hikes 2026 World Cup parking prices, including for disabled fans 1 week ago:
HEHe if that 175 is a shock to you, wait until you look up the ticket prices.
Also every hotel that is within any reasonable distance to a FIFA game will double their rates… at least double.

I can’t speak to European Soccer Games, that how I have travelled to NFL games for years.
I live in the Baltimore Area and many restaurants in the surrounding counties offer bus services to the game. It is such a great way to get back and forth to the game. You don’t to deal with stadium traffic and after the game its nice to get an early dinner.
When the Washington Commanders (then redskins) played in RFK stadium it was connected to the DC metro. That was such a great way to get to and from the game.
It is so easy to take the train from NYC to Met Life stadium in Jersey where the NY Giants and Jets play.
- Comment on Americans: How the hell do you meet new people or get into relationships after college? 2 weeks ago:
I can only answer this based on what I did.
After college I joined the Army. it is easier to meet people in the Army than it is in college. The army was wild. The days last forever but the weeks go by quick. In the army it is not uncommon to meet someone and by the end of the day they are the best friend you ever had and two weeks later you don’t see them again.
After the Army I settled in a suburban area started working a civilian job and raised my family. I met my best friend as he lived two doors down from us and his two kids were one year younger and one year older than my kid, so we were the two dads watching over the kids in the neighborhood.
From there we started lifting weights together, taking our families to football games and having cookouts together. We also had other families in the neighborhood come and go.
I also made friends through work. I worked in IT so it was a fun job and the people I worked with were great.
The most important thing is proximity.
- Comment on Active duty members of the United States, How are you feeling in regards of being under the service of the Amerinazis? 3 weeks ago:
You have to understand how compartmentalized the military is. Service members focus on the job in front of them, the directions and orders their immediate supervisor are giving and the tasks they have to do.
The broader political landscape is utterly remote to 99% of the Armed Forces.
- Comment on If America and Mexico did an all our "WAR" against the cartels look like? 3 weeks ago:
The cartels are Billion dollar entities that have insanely diverse lines of business. An all out war with them would destabilize western currencies.
- Comment on Is it rude to go through the car wash with a bunch of snow on your car? 3 weeks ago:
Yes, it is. It’s absurdly rude because in order for you to get there, you would’ve had your driven with all that Snow on that car.
And people who drive with a bunch of snow on their car are assholes. So rest assured that today you were that asshole.
- Comment on In the US we have signs that say No Shirt No Shoes No service. When did this become a norm? Also if I am wearing a shirt and shoes but no pants can I still enter? 3 weeks ago:
I don’t know when it became a norm. I first noticed those signs in beach communities in the 70s and that never made any sense. It is the beach…

- Comment on How do I make a dog mean? Not that I want that but would kind of like for him to also be our protector much as his. I don't want to hit him or deprive him though he is just sometimes tooo nice. 4 weeks ago:
Why not hire a service that will train your dog to be a guard dog. You want a guard dog to do a lot more alerting than attacking.
You don’t want it mean, you want it effective.
- Comment on What does the process of disobeying illegal military orders look like? [US] 4 weeks ago:
Yeah… all you need to solve a legal issue in movies is a montage. Lemmy/reddit thinks the same thing.
- Comment on What does the process of disobeying illegal military orders look like? [US] 4 weeks ago:
What happens is the person that disobeys orders spends years dealing with all types of non judicial and judicial punishment, then they probably get vilified by various right wing pundits and having their lives dismantled and all types of fucked up, decades later some court will exonerate them and by that time, no one will remember the dudes name and or will only remember that they are a bad guy.
It isnt a culture of the people above me know better. It is a legal system taht dictates that.

Yeah, that shit is wild. I remember that trash and debris from the Japanese Tsunami was washing up on the west coast of the US. That really didn’t surprise me, but what did was how fast it got to the west coast.
It has alwasy shocked me when I see a thing that really hits home how small our planet is,
