So the POTUS cant roll it back a SCOTUS ruling.
The POTUS executes the ruling. Hence the word executive.
What the next POTUS will do is have some agency’ s lawyers interpret the ruling and turn that into actions and or lines of business for the agency they are part of.

So many times the “celebrity” will get a hotel room to stay in for the nights and weekends, they will use the trailer throughout the day as they do shooting. They also rent and buy houses near the production and then use the trailer for the day to day.
When shooting a movie or TV show it is insane how much downtime there is.

The only reason the Ottoman Empire existed for its last 300 years was because of maneuverings of European powers. The empire was basically a pawn of Germany, Russia, England, France and pretty much every European power in their various quests for world domination.
How western powers orchestrated the political maneuverings of The Middle East were radically changed after WWI. Western powers stopped pretending that The Ottoman Empire was a thing divided up the maps of the middle east into different countries that they could manipulate.
During that divvying up there was a push to establish a Kurdish state from the carcass of the Ottoman empire but it fizzled out. I guess no major power in the divvying up process saw any value in giving the Kurds a state.

OMFG the elderly parent tech support shit.
My dad and his wife drove me crazy with that shit. The best part about the wife is that when she would call me for help she would argue with me about the things I told her to do.
This is the situation, they are in their condo in Florida and I am outside Baltimore MD, On a phone call.

- Me : The battery is probably dead, replace the battery
- Her: We have never replaced a battery in a key board.
- Me: ok, that is probably why it is dead.
- Her: It doesn’t have a battery.
- Me: (as I set it for them I know it is wireless) Does it have a cable connecting it to the computer?
- Her: no
- Me: ok, then it is wireless, the batter is probably dead. Flip the keyboard over and look for the battery cover.
- Her: (I hear on the phone that she has not flipped the keyboard over) I don’t see it.
- Me: have you flipped over the keyboard over.
- Her: (at this point, she is in total brainlock) how do I do that?
- Me: (pours myself another whiskey and coke)
Yeah back when it was all PC tech support I would just use Teamviewer and other products to shadow their PC and see WTF their issues where. Now with everything being cellphone it is fucking hopeless.
For a long time I did convince them to get the same exact phone as I had so I could at least give them step by step instructions on some issues.
Then “the nice guy” at the phone place gave them a great deal on a different phone type.
Now my dad’s mental capability is completely gone so that has stopped and I got so sick of her shit that I have shut it down.

It is completely normal.
I have not idea what passively assertive is but what you should do is learn when to be “alert” as you call it.
When I am at work I am ready to go. When I am at home I am zoned out and not dealing with it unless it is time to. When I am driving,I am ready to go. When I am chilling on the stairmaster I am in he zone and focused only on the next step.
