Mostly the pokemon fangame Pokemon Decay.
I was going to break my years long permanent quitting of minecraft to try a modpack, but Curseforge wasn’t working on my laptop and then I accidentally deleted a bunch of appimages off my device and have given up on mc since.

Saw this a while ago and it’s pretty cool. Some of the solutions to some puzzles definitely feel too RNG for even someone like myself who loves randomness. Specifically the ones where you gotta hit the energy pellet into the receptacle, near the end of the testing track.
- Comment on What are your experiences using Linux for gaming? 4 days ago:
I’m a noob when it comes to gaming on Linux, having to rely on WINE just working without any changes or Proton on Steam if there’s no Linux port. Still learning how to do more advanced things with WINE rather than just run and hope the program works.
So far I haven’t had any major issues with getting games to play, except for a couple old PC games I found on MyAbandonware that probably need some extra work to work properly. Doesn’t display correctly or play the music for either. Otherwise, my experience has been pretty good.
As for distro side of things, I don’t know, outside of SteamOS on my Steam Deck, I have no clue on what’s happening in the games sphere. I just have Steam downloaded from either my package manager or flathub and call it good there.
Oh, and I also have the native Itchio storefront program and it works just fine as long as I don’t change the language to a certain language because it’ll just cause sorts of problems ( probably due to me not having a language pack for it installed ). The one visual novel I’ve played on Itchio on my laptop worked just fine out of the box, but I assume that’s more or less thanks to the devs.

- Comment on Blocking Access to Harmful Content Will Not Protect Children Online, No Matter How Many Times UK Politicians Say So 6 days ago:
Imagine you’re a teen dealing with a serious parental abuse issue. You don’t wanna give that info up to just anyone, so you rely on forums for people that are having or have had the same type of problem. Suddenly, under the new law, you are either geoblocked from the site entirely or you must provide some form of age verification.
Your options are either get a VPN ( which could very well be being blocked soon enough ) or you could find a free speech forum on the edge of the web that doesn’t require any of that. For people with even just slightly above average tech skills, a VPN wouldn’t be that hard to get.
For the forum, I can guarantee there are gonna be people looking to make you feel welcome, only to suddenly change once you’re comfortable and start demanding illicit content. Although this probably happens a lot on big platforms like ex-twitter, you have more options to deal with the people on there. The admins/mods of free speech sites probably aren’t gonna care as much if you’re getting abused on their free speech for all forums, so long as you don’t report their site to the government.
If neither of those are a good enough answer, imagine any company responsible for all the age verification stuff. Imagine they keep all the info they collect, whether that’s the verification for adults or minors. You know they aren’t getting rid of that data because it’s worth more kept and constantly being sold than if it was being deleted. What would happen if their repository of age verification data got hacked? A matter of when, not if, they get hacked, and suddenly every single person who submitted an ID, including the IDs of minors, gets stolen and suddenly any minor in their database is now a very likely victim of ID theft and fraud before they’re even considered a legal adult.

Definitely.
Although, I don’t think I’d go for a full suit for my fursona because I’ve never imagined them naked, I’ll agree this is a good idea.
- Comment on Count yourself lucky 6 days ago:
I have thought about that, but for the first one I get, if I ever get one, I’m probably gonna get one without just to make sure I can handle it. Last thing I want is to spend a ton of money on a fursuit with a ton of extras only to find my body cannot handle it, with or without fans.
- Comment on So GOG going to relist Devotion? Seeing how they're about freedom to buy games. 1 week ago:
I’ve played a bit of it ( haven’t finished ) and so far it’s pretty good. I totally wish I didn’t see a playthrough of their other game, Detention, around 2018, so I could go in for a completelt blind playthrough like I am for Devotion.
- Comment on Count yourself lucky 1 week ago:
That’s why I’m definitely gonna get a partial if I ever get a fursuit. All I need is the head, hand paws, and tail. Then I’d be set… as soon as I get a bunch of sweat reduction clothing and more black pants and long sleeve shirts.

I had an amazing run going earlier on Dungeon Clawler using Toxicarl and the kiddo pets. I could stack millions of stacks of poison on the enemies. Got to somewhere like floor 70 or so before dying.
Other than that, I have been on and off with most every other game I’ve attempted to play due to me finding them more boring nowadays.
The exception being a pokemon fangame: Pokemon Decay, which is kinda cool. Whole thing of the region you are in is the result of the first 4 regions being smashed together due to a decade prior the 3 legendary Hoenn creatures causing things to go chaotic and causing lots of chaos. Has new forms of pokemon, new evolutions for some, and for the most part they all look like well designed sprites.

The cost of all stuffed animals at a thrift shop.
Then I could easily work on increasing the amount of rescues I will have. It’s currently 1.5 rescue to 4 others ( purchased at a store, gift shop, gift, etcetera ).
My goal to someday have more rescues than store bought would be a little easier.
Oh yeah, and kids would have an easier time accessing them because $1 stuffed animals are a lot easier to convince a parent to buy than a $5.99 stuffed animal. But I don’t like kids, so they were an afterthought!

What’s stoping a group like Collective Shout from then forcing the payment processors from going after whatever web domain registrar they get their name from? Or, assuming they don’t use their own hardware, which is extremely likely, that they go after whoever they go through for hosting their website?
As great of an idea as just switching payment processors is, that won’t stop those puritanical pricks because they’ll just switch targets and get the whole website/service taken down if it means fulfilling their Satan guided goals being done in the name of Jesus.
- Comment on Which of theses games should i play? 2 weeks ago:
ultimately just another Minecraft clone.
For the most part I would agree. Though there are absolutely some games on there that make it feel like a standout product. Those games being shorter games called “Glitch” and “Eyeballs”. They do a good enough job of showcasing how you could use Luanti as a legitimate game platform. But other than those, would agree that it falls into the clone category.
- Comment on Which of theses games should i play? 2 weeks ago:
As much as I don’t wanna recommend it for personal gripes, I’d say go with minecraft if you want more content in general due to the size of the fan base.
If you don’t care as much and just wanna play a voxel sandbox game and don’t care about having as big of a backlog of fan made content, Luanti ( formerly MineTest ) is a fine enough platform.
The drawbacks for mc, in my opinion, are pretty much things like chat verification ( assuming they actually went through with that ) for basically all messages you send, even in single player mode. And, assuming they didn’t back down and did parity on java with the bedrock version that chat and signs are censored to make sure in every single way you play, either online or single player, is child friendly by replacing all characters with asterisks. I personally left over both of those because I prefer not being treated like a child and having parental controls forced on me.
Also, drawback for mc bedrock is how they, still, after years have bugs where you’ll just randomly start taking damage or will be placing blocks that will not actually place, causing you to die from falling if you are high enough or other similar bugs. Works in single player, too, as far as I’m aware. Rubber banding kind of issues that I don’t know if they’ve actually fixed yet. I’d hope they have, but I doubt it. There’s a reason I’ve heard that version be called “bugrock” many times before in the past. Besides that, the bedrock version is also home to a marketplace where you have to use purchased in-game currency. Just something to keep in mind, despite it not being something you have to ever use. Also, that version doesn’t have access to basically any of the mods the java version has.
The drawbacks with Luanti are the fact that there’s a much more limited amount of content available in comparison to the behemoth mc. You have some games like VoxeLibre ( formerly MineClone2 ) and Age of Mending that are getting updated, but there are a lot more games not being updated because they’re either already completed or abandoned. You’ll also have some trial and error if you turn on a lot of mods for your save in any of the games because even if they say they’ll work in a game because dependencies are met, you still might have mods that instantly crash your save and give you an error that they won’t work for some reason or another. If you know lua you might be able to fix the errors, but do you really want to spend all that time fixing errors and getting a mod to work or would you rather just play without them? Same sort of problem, depending on the game, applies if you apply mods like Unified Inventory or any other Just Enough Items type inventory changing mods, like if you try on VoxeLibre. Haven’t figured out how to get Unified Inventory to work on there.
On the subject of specific games, for VoxeLibre ( one of the games trying to be a Luanti parity of minecraft ), you’ll probably be updates upon updates behind minecraft for a really long time or until the devs either quit or are forced to quit by macrohard/mojangles sending a cease and desist letter or something similar. Features that work just fine on mc, like redstone, might be buggy or don’t work the exact same on voxelibre. For example, due to differences in TNT explosion physics ( I assume ), TNT cannons don’t work despite the redstone for basic ones working just fine. Also, as a fault of Luanti in general, if you look in controls, your “Aux1” key is the sprint key in voxelibre, but absolutely nothing tells you that.

I know this is more of a serious thing, but I was thinking that I kinda hope these payment processors try to ban some big European company over some puritanical bullshit and then Europe responds with threatening a complete ban on them to put them in line. Ain’t no way any payment processor would ever risk being banned in one of the largest markets in the world.
- Comment on Itch.io is delisting NSFW games due to pressure from payment processors 2 weeks ago:
Assuming we’re being facetious here, 100% agree.
Hell, if extwitter gets banned, it’d be hilarious because then there would probably be laws changed to ensure only the government can select what gets banned. Though, not so hilarious in the current state of the world.

I’d say that’s more than controversial. It’s inhumane and should be outlawed worldwide. That’s more closer to Japanese “work yourself to death” kinda work culture than anything else. There’s a reason, from what I understand, that basically nobody, besides the bosses implementing this kinda policy, likes it.

I vote we try it with a bunch of old point and click adventure games like Monkey Island or any other that have simplistic enough graphics and gameplay. Couldn’t tell you how to do it because I don’t know what code they run and how inefficient it could be by the standards at the time, but I feel like a lot of old point and click games could probably run just fine on a lot of modern devices that aren’t computers, if given a Doom level community support.
