- Comment on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Official Game Overview Trailer 2 weeks ago:
Frankly for me I loved the modern day segments until they butchered it in 4 since it provided a cohesive link between all the games and was building up to a interesting modern day AC (which was killed due to AC3’s modern day ending). That said, if you’re not a long time player then I guess it does feel excessive.
- Comment on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Official Game Overview Trailer 2 weeks ago:
It’s said that the modern day segment has been changed supposedly so let’s hope it’ll be better than what was.
- Comment on Let's discuss ideas how Game Pass should be structured and priced 2 weeks ago:
The trap is the money you have to spend when you could have played a demo instead.
Few games have demos nowadays though unfortunately.
And the larger trap, that you have to use a Microsoft product to play it on.
I mean that’s not remotely even an issue if you’re already on Windows which most PC gamers already are.
- Comment on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Price Update - Xbox Wire 2 weeks ago:
It’s not that bad. Honestly I think the newer CoD games are better a year after release. During it’s release schedule, they try really hard to sell the battle pass so the weapons you get from going through the battle pass tends to be overpowered and then balanced after the end of the season.
- Comment on Let's discuss ideas how Game Pass should be structured and priced 2 weeks ago:
Things aren’t so cut and dry though, there’s a nuance to things. I use it to try a bunch of games without committing to a full purchase until I feel like it’s worth buying them. What about that is a trap?
- Comment on Racing fans, is Forza Horizon 6 for me? 3 weeks ago:
If you’re on PC or Xbox, you could try it on game pass when it comes out first before committing fully into it.

While it was different, I did like Exodus in a different way and it felt pretty fresh.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 1 month ago:
Why would they learn that when the Switch 2 is selling twice as fast as the first even with a much more limited catalog? A drop of 1/3 is still selling notably faster than the first Switch at it’s same time span.

Just like people are waiting for Half Life 3, we’ve been waiting for Mahoyo 2, Tsukihime Red and more.

Sometimes it’s starting to feel like Type Moon is Japan’s Valve at times.

Is code the new copper?
- Comment on Xbox as a platform is officially dead 2 months ago:
Sounds great honestly, locked down console hardware is such an aging concept. If Valve manages to pull off the Steam Machines, it’s proof that we’ve past the age of consoles. Except Nintendo I guess, they’ve always been a special case somehow.
- Comment on Highguard will permanently shut down on March 12th. 2 months ago:
Considering that this was just a PvP, you’re not losing much in picking it up as long as you don’t spend money on it. It was kinda cool to try it out for one game and realise it wasn’t ever gonna be my cup of tea.

And don’t even get me started on gaming news and influencers, who seem like they love to hate. They bitch about being stuck with CoD, then shit on anything that could someday compete with it. It’s baffling.
Nothing gets more “engagement” like that. It’s not even isolated to games, any other section of news gets the same treatment. It’s a shit show of journalism that we have today.
- Comment on I Bought a “Junk” PSP From Japan: Here’s How It Went 2 months ago:
If that were the case, there wouldn’t be so many 2nd hand stores there. The number of Surugaya, Hard Off, Book Off, Lashinbangs among others and independent retro game stores are proof of this.

It’s Japan, they dont really care about things like these. Just look at all their anime, games and doujin market.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Yes…? My only problem with Shadows was the story being a mess. I quite liked the gameplay even though I would’ve preferred something closer to Mirage.

The launch of Ubisoft’s Vantage Studios, the company’s first “Creative House” set to oversee the Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six franchises, disrupted those plans as in-development titles came under review as part of the restructure.
And people told me the Tencent partnership would make things better…

I’d argue Y7 and Y7: Gaiden was better than Y3 - Y5. Tbh I feel like things really went downhill only after Y8.

How do they even make this argument even with a straight face is beyond me.
- Comment on After Black Ops 7's weaker launch, Call of Duty will no longer do back-to-back releases in the same series 4 months ago:
The new games aren’t all bad for the campaigns. MW2019 was pretty good and Black Ops 6 had a really fun campaign, it had a pretty good story too at least til the end.
- Comment on Valve's new hardware will NOT be loss leaders 5 months ago:
I think they’re referring to the Steam Frame controllers, not the Steam Controller.
- Comment on Steam Hardware [new Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and VR headset Steam Frame, coming in 2026] 5 months ago:
What would you want hand tracking or color pass through for? The goal of this headset is VR and I feel like it checks all the boxes required for it.
- Comment on Steam Hardware [new Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and VR headset Steam Frame, coming in 2026] 5 months ago:
I very much doubt it would be 1K, the Index was 1K and they’ve made it clear that this is not targeting the same premium headset market that the Index was.
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 5 months ago:
My experience with the Steam Deck and the Index controllers are the only thing keeping me from writing it off my mind all together. I have faith in Valve’s team when it comes to ergonomics so I hope they surprise me.
That said, I hope they improved on the Steam Deck because the face buttons on the Deck are so close to the edge that it’s challenging to do quick presses for games like rhythm games.
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 5 months ago:
The controller would’ve been an instant buy for me if it had asymmetric sticks but I’ll wait for it to come out and give it a try before I make a decision.
- Comment on Protests erupt at Rockstar Games offices accusing GTA 6 developers of “Union Busting” 5 months ago:
go in completely wonky directions, and in general are so generic and repetitive
Do you have an example because these 2 points seem like they are at odds with each other.
- Comment on 6 months ago:
The ability to miss games has been there for years, you could go to the game in the Xbox app and open the modifiable app data folder. The problem with this is that, developers can choose not to expose that capability on a per game basis.
Still there’s ways aroused it at least but it certainly not as straightforward.
- Comment on 6 months ago:
Anyone know if Nexon is a concern for this game? I haven’t heard much about them recently but their shitty practices from way back then (and continuing) from their older MMOs doesn’t inspire confidence.
