Yes that Bain Capital.
Childcare in Australia is subsidised by the government, so the childcare centres raise fees and every few years the government raises the subsidy so parents can afford it. Once it’s affordable the centres raise fees again, it’s a vicious cycle.
I read the meeting minutes from when they bought us out and it was all about how they struck gold with free government money. They didn’t give a shit about the children, just how much tax payer money they could take out of our country.

Daycare is a multibillion dollar industry. The previous company I worked at here in Australia was owned by big an American private investment firm (Bain Capital).
My centres company owned about 70 centres under them, and their owners had many other childcare corporations they owned across the globe.

Google Maps shows the building I’m eyeing having existed since 2014. I can see scaffolding on the 2022 photos, seems to have had some exterior work done to the whole complex.

I’m looking at buying an apartment for my own living needs. It’s my first time doing this. What sort of things should I be looking for during inspections and what questions should I ask?

You don’t need to live in a HOA for that. I don’t think we even have those in my country, but the council would act if alerted.

Yeah, let’s maybe not leave that up to the state/legal system to decide who is and isn’t a war criminal. They’re terribly biased and bad faith arbiters.

And due to higher living expenses we end up with less disposable income than Americans.

I work in ECE in Australia, and from this
The next day, in a second email the management committee proposed to charge $2,200 for a scrapbook of artwork produced by their children and photographs of them to help pay off the debt.
They 100% mean printing out on the shitty work printer and pasting photos they took on their iPad alongside some pages of their artwork in one of those $3 black 48 paged A3 scrapbooks from OfficeWorks.

That’s the same excuse people who hit their kids use. You could have turned out even better, with better care and education.
As for tracking nappy changes, it can help with assessing any health issues and tracking long term trends, it’s useful for toileting as we can see how frequently and volume of accidents to help understand their needs for prompting, it’s useful for parents to know if for example they’re going out straight away and need to change before hand, and it’s useful for child protection (our records show that this educator changed the nappy at the time of the incident etc).
- Comment on Incident 5 months ago:
No, that’s not sufficient. I’m sorry you were let down by the educational standards at the time.

Yes.
The current advice I’m given in Australia these days is that it’s better for children to sleep and be monitored than kept up and to become exhausted.
If we had genuine belief that a child had a concussion and not just hit themselves on a fall (happens daily), we would ask for the child to be collected by parents.

Management can not just slot in to replace an educator.
Especially not when you have 6 rooms of adults picking their kids up after finishing work at 5.
The simple matter of fact is there is not enough time to talk to ~20 families each evening and give a summary of their kids day.
