‘Trans ideology’ also called basic human rights, is certainly something to focus on. Simply because a group is a minority, does not justify ignoring their needs.
As the article also states
Craig has previously spoken out in support of LGBTQ+ rights. During her mayoral campaign, she said she had spent her career fighting for LGBTQ+ equality and insisted it was possible to support both women’s services and trans communities without “throwing our trans communities under the bus”.
LGBTQ+ peoples are 7% of the population, luckily Bev Craig doesn’t ignore them or dismiss it as ‘fringe ideology’ like some right wing twat.

I’ve been following the numerous complaints being made about GB News and how transphobic their content is, for a very long time now. It’s nice to see some action even starting to be taken. Seems this particular segment caused a bit of a frenzy as they even had to come back later and try to play neutral in response to it.
It’s a shame it’s only in relation to this one incident however, as there’s a frequent amount of them and a more general investigation into GB News would show the overall nature of the ‘station’.

- Comment on Why does China have so many multi billionaires if they are aiming to be a communist country? 1 week ago:
And capitalist states will remain as long as you have capitalists.

Just a few more billionaires and the state will wither away.
- Comment on Why does China have so many multi billionaires if they are aiming to be a communist country? 1 week ago:
It’s worth $30 billion.
Being humbled by the state while remaining a billionaire does not justify the existence of the billionaire capitalist class.

- Comment on Primary schools to be told to identify children at risk of future unemployment 1 week ago:
I don’t think people should be evaluating children based on their future potential for employment.
If unemployment is an issue, focus on the workplaces don’t try to train children into being workers.

Press the packet against the bowl for a minute. The oil warms up and you can mix it together.

Yes, I’ve heard of many. Can’t think of the names at 4am unfortunately.
My favourite was one that was basically in and out, as the centre of their island had a mountain so things were either towards or away from it.

Concerning you did not list educator in her tasks, and instead focused on the least important aspects of “childcare”.
Children shouldn’t be a business model, but proper ECE is vital at that age where they learn more than any other time in their life.

The Fediverse isn’t about empowering users and local communities it’s about saviours making sure us savages get what’s best for us.
- Comment on Why does Australia tend to ban or censor video games? 3 weeks ago:
I’m talking about political and societal attitudes; We’re outliers. Simply being on the Fediverse makes us outliers with a strong bias towards more tech and gaming based interests.
It will be another 10-20 years before politics catches up to us in normalising video games and understanding they’re important cultural elements not simply kids entertainment. Until that point in time, their importance is going to be neglected by politicians and Christian lobbyists will be able to exert their influence over moral policing them.
- Comment on Why does Australia tend to ban or censor video games? 3 weeks ago:
They may have grown up with video games, but video games were not the cultural force they are today. For my entire childhood they were for nerds, now everyone growing up plays them.
- Comment on Why does Australia tend to ban or censor video games? 3 weeks ago:
Our country is incredibly lazy and slow to change, and Christians hold a lot of power.
Likewise the median age of politician is 50, so they’re not really a generation who value gaming.
But mostly it’s Christian’s and their forced morals on the rest of us.
