van der Lubbe did nothing wrong and does not deserve this hate. The nazis would have found an excuse to grab power anyway, this just sped it up. Also, “doused in flammable liquids” my ass, he tried setting multiple things on fire including reportedly his own clothes because the building wouldn’t catch.
