Surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be, this is on a 250/100 connection
Unfortunately content on Lemmy is very hit or miss, I actually upgraded the connection from 50mbps upload because the first like 1-2 hours that the content is uploaded it gets absolutely hammered then it slowly drops off till after 12 hours it’s just a slow trickle
And even within that first 1-2 hours, if you click play you might get a full speed upload but then suddenly 6 people might all click play at once and saturate the link
But given that I’m uploading terabytes and it’s not costing my server admins any cash I think it’s ok and I’d rather not sign up to cloudflare
If bunny cdn offers a basic free tier then maybe
