- Comment on More People Are Pre-ordering The $100 Edition Of GTA 6 1 week ago:
It’s a gaming capable PC that can provide an actual benchmark target…for the first time in the entire history of the industry if you exclude handhelds (even then isn’t the deck the only one that actually became a target for a notable number of studios). That alone is worth some extra cost. It’s a great entry point for people who only know their phone and it’s app store, you know, the vast majority of humanity…also great for people curious about non-windows/apple OS that are intimidated by the sheer volume of knowledge you need to even pick an alternative OS let alone use it reliably. What about all the work Valve keeps doing on open source projects and Linux gaming as a whole?
You’re ignoring everything about the device except the price and a per-piece comparison of hardware, when in reality it’s about the whole package…plus most of your complaints here have straight up just been you upset that some randos online argued with about both of your speculations on price.
- Comment on Going Back ↪️🏨 1 week ago:
That applies to houses as well lol. For all of it, it goes even deeper too. It’s not just that buildings that were going to be rented are now airbnbs, but that another avenue of revenue is once again tied to hoarding livable buildings with no plans of residing in them.
- Comment on Primary schools to be told to identify children at risk of future unemployment 1 week ago:
The solution is more resources per child with constant evaluation and alteration of the system and what it offers, it really is that simple. You do not need to label children as unemployable and put them on some list, that will never end well even if the original intentions were purely benevolent.
- Comment on Primary schools to be told to identify children at risk of future unemployment 1 week ago:
The point of school is supposed to be education, this is not prioritizing education. Schools should not be drone factories turning children into obedient workers for the corporations.
- Comment on Local Walmart just installed cameras in the aisles… 2 weeks ago:
Notice how there’s more than a lense there? Notice the angle the whole unit is going to be monitoring? It’s not for security, and the biggest concern isn’t even about immoral business practices like surge pricing or even more targeted advertising and coercive “advertising”.
- Comment on Local Walmart just installed cameras in the aisles… 2 weeks ago:
Not a locked case, it’s a normal shelf…also not a normal camera and not for security.
Do you get it now?
- Comment on Large scale terror thwarted 2 weeks ago:
That’s absolutely not happening in America, you need better sources. We’re still strongly pro Zionist over here.

Yeah kids in college make great social media platforms
- Comment on Enshrouded - Official Version 1.0 Release Date Trailer [October 15] 1 month ago:
Honestly I only bought this game because they were making their own engine. I was and still am pretty tired of anything remotely survival/crafter-like but they’ve done some good work here and I’m excited to check out 1.0
- Comment on EU Commission meets behind closed doors with Ubisoft, other corporations, and exhibits blatant corruption. 1 month ago:
Take a look at stuff like Vintage Story and Bellum…or og Minecraft lmao. Did you think your comment through at all?
- Comment on What is a game that you know is bad but really enjoy(ed)? 1 month ago:
I actually enjoyed both Two Worlds, even replayed them like 10 years ago. Tbh though “janky bug ridden pile of code” also applies to Bethesda titles, especially Oblivion.
- Comment on EU Commission meets behind closed doors with Ubisoft, other corporations, and exhibits blatant corruption. 1 month ago:
The Nazi storefront? How about just fuck all corps, either steal it or do the transaction directly with the devs.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Producing any product is a risk that’s a fact lmfao you have got to be kidding me here.
It’s absolutely appropriate to discuss risk in business as a divergence from the standard. Also a fact.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Producing literally any product whatsoever is a risk, the term becomes meaningless when used in the way that you are using it.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
That’s trend chasing lol. They’re just trying to get their own version of things that already exist or if they already have a grade A live service then they create a template from that and apply it to literally everything they touch. They keep failing simply because they are too dumb to understand saturated markets not because they’re taking risks and falling short on something.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Lmao the AAA industry does not and has not taken risks in at least 15 years. They exclusively follow focus group and investor trends while turning down any innovation or risk.

Wasn’t Rockstars last demo for gta2 back in 99?
- Comment on HAEX | Announcement Trailer 2 months ago:
This is exactly what Remedy’s multiplayer Control game should have been lmao.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
They said movement and exploration of gw2 dialed up to 11 with the larger more open skill system of gw1 but it’s action combat. Basically sounds like they’re combining the best parts of both games and then leaning into the newer action MMO style combat instead of tabclicker.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Same with gw2 and wow but we’re talking 21, 16, and 14 year old games here lol, every “major” new MMO since those 3 has died… it’s not exactly inaccurate to call the genre dead.
Shout-out the return of Gloria Victis next week too, best pvp MMO I’ve ever played, the sieges are insane.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
They already stated they will continue simultaneous development of all 3 games. Plus Anet genre hops each game, 3 is going to be more action adventure, so no reason to stop playing 1 or 2 even after 3 hits it’s stride.

- Comment on Anon plays World of Warcraft 2 months ago:
None of what you said was a new thing or what actually pushed Blizz/Msoft to action. It was the unreal engine port that did it.
- Comment on Valve has raised Steam Deck prices in the US 2 months ago:
Valve doesn’t have 50+ years of hardware experience though. Sony, Nintendo, and Msoft can all swing their big dicks all over that industry and get whatever the fuck they want, Valve cannot.
Valve can and does strongarm the software side all the time, the gaming industry would have died instead of exponentially surpassing the film industry if it weren’t for Valve setting strong precedents.
And finally how in the fuck are you blaming AI at the same time that you are trying to defend Sony? The company that’s adding AI to PLAY THE FUCKING GAME FOR YOU?
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
White guy in the US here, I’m obsessed with Suriname. Most people I mention it to don’t even know it exists, and like half of them will still walk away from the conversation thinking I’m talking about either Africa or Asia even after I explicitly mention the continent and population.

Damn you, now I want to play Halo too! I guess I’ll finally try out the VR mod.

The Star Wars mods for this are awesome, I think they usually only do pve though.

Swatting becoming normalized is the logical conclusion to a “justice” system that offers immunity to trigger happy officers with practically 0 training or oversight.

It never stopped btw. This has been a constant and consistent issue for well over a decade, it rarely ever makes “the news”.
