- Comment on Valve has raised Steam Deck prices in the US 3 days ago:
Valve doesn’t have 50+ years of hardware experience though. Sony, Nintendo, and Msoft can all swing their big dicks all over that industry and get whatever the fuck they want, Valve cannot.
Valve can and does strongarm the software side all the time, the gaming industry would have died instead of exponentially surpassing the film industry if it weren’t for Valve setting strong precedents.
And finally how in the fuck are you blaming AI at the same time that you are trying to defend Sony? The company that’s adding AI to PLAY THE FUCKING GAME FOR YOU?

White guy in the US here, I’m obsessed with Suriname. Most people I mention it to don’t even know it exists, and like half of them will still walk away from the conversation thinking I’m talking about either Africa or Asia even after I explicitly mention the continent and population.

Damn you, now I want to play Halo too! I guess I’ll finally try out the VR mod.

The Star Wars mods for this are awesome, I think they usually only do pve though.

Swatting becoming normalized is the logical conclusion to a “justice” system that offers immunity to trigger happy officers with practically 0 training or oversight.

It never stopped btw. This has been a constant and consistent issue for well over a decade, it rarely ever makes “the news”.

Nah the US police only bomb black neighborhoods.

CHS is a real thing, just not as portrayed by the OP. And the US government absolutely sprayed fuckloads of weed with paraquat back in the day, we have declassified files about it, there were hospitalizations, lifelong issues like Parkinson’s and even deaths from it.
- Comment on Why is the US so into Israel? 5 weeks ago:
My point was poorly communicated sorry. I was getting at how we helped set up Mossad between 49 and 51, and have not stopped. Since it’s founding we have supported them financially, we have freely shared research and data with them that we do not share with anybody else (one way, it’s not reciprocal), we have peddled their propaganda across the world and our own country, we allowed them to lobby our government despite it being illegal and not allowing any other country to do so in an open official capacity (yes, AIPAC started in 1954…and weirdly the first president that called it out had an unfortunate accident).
- Comment on Why is the US so into Israel? 5 weeks ago:
Wtf does that even mean? The second ww2 ended the US finished the Nazis original plan, we fucking sent “the Jews” to a far away chunk of land, and have not stopped bending over backwards for them ever since.

Yeah cause this relationship is only a few decades old lmao
- Comment on Is there any decent PvP FPS that's not infested with cheaters? Looking for a decent PvP FPS 1 month ago:
Absolute best way to avoid cheaters is playing games with private servers and community moderators, infinitely better in every way except it’s not always as easy as “load game and click matchmake”. Arma is my favorite, it’s even become my go to game for playing weird stuff like Halo and Star Wars content.
Tons of older stuff being kept alive purely by dedicated communities, like Battlefield 2/Project Reality, BFBC2/Venice, Titanfall 1/R1, Titanfall 2/Northstar, Battlefront 2 og/legacy mod, Battlefront 2 EA via Kyber, several old CoD projects including combining games.
Also community and teamwork oriented games like Bellum, Squad, Glory to the Heroes, Gray Zone Warfare.
Virtual Reality is really fun for shooters tbh, extremely rare to see actual cheating there but it’s a lot to get into at first.
Otherwise I feel like I’ve rarely if ever seen cheaters on Holdfast, Overwatch, Bodycam, Straftat.
- Comment on What is on your next-to-buy list? 2 months ago:
Yeah I have my eye on Screamer too, thinking it might finally be the game that gets me to move on from Split Second lol. We need more over the top action racers, some middle ground between like NFS and Mario Kart.
- Comment on What is on your next-to-buy list? 2 months ago:
My next purchase will most likely be either Yes Your Grace 2 (all about choices and story) or Beyond Sandbox (modding platform for VR). Also considering Everwind and Toxic Commando but I’ll probably wait for some updates. I can’t remember if Road to Vostok is f2p or paid but that’s a day 1 either way for me.
But several old purchases I made are paying off now, Bellum and Glory To The Heroes are finally in testing phases…oh and Gloria Victis is officially coming back next month, it’s like if Chivalry was a janky ass MMO and I fucking love it.

I would actually roflmao if I saw some white trash walking around a trailer park in that sweater.
- Comment on Is this the key to a utopian society? 2 months ago:
That’s the problem though, like we’re in this spot specifically because the masses can be placated with a scapegoat. In such a massive system as a government or major corporation, 1 person did not make the decisions alone and it absolutely took way the fuck more than 1 person to enact them. Humanity has never taken things far enough to punish the most heinous of crimes, look at how well things went for so many former Nazis…their surviving rape victims were literally treated worse and received the hatred from the masses that should have been directed at the people making decisions and carrying out the orders.
- Comment on The list is realistically so much longer. 2 months ago:
Multiple organizations within the US government received warnings about and had information on the 9/11 attacks like a month before hand, we knew it was going to happen and let it, that’s a fact.
To be fair, I doubt that is what whoever made this had in mind but still it is a valid piece of evidence for not trusting the government.

- Comment on Saying that hardware price increase is good cause it forces the devs to optimize is not as good as it seems. 3 months ago:
Tbh all over simplified tech going away would be nice. Force people to learn and think to use devices and services, at least get away from the “app and console” type of mindsets.
