Don’t listen to me, I believe all sorts of nonsense.
Weight is not the metric to be measuring by, it fluctuates too much day by day to provide meaningful data and encourages poor behaviors and thought patterns around healthy sizes and shapes.
Most diets work by the grace of being intentional with your food intake via calories/nutrition/macros. Number one thing to do is cut out processed foods. Once your system readjusts to real food it gets really good at self-regulating intake, processed foods are engineered to lie to us to make us eat more. Cravings are our body asking for a nutrient from whatever source it’s most familiar with, so get familiar with the good for you foods.
Another aspect of fat cells is they can be full or empty, our body also stores toxins in full fat cells when it can’t process them out fast enough and each fat cell can be used about 5-6 times. So to get rid of fat you need to detox firat and to get rid of it permanently you need to use up the cells. Basic idea is get on the losing a kg per week then do one week a month gaining a kg instead of losing one until you hit your goals.
Losing weight too fast can also result in excess saggy skin, losing it slower helps with skin elasticity.

Way back I remember reading an essay that had a figure called the Teacher of Light, cult leader in the middle of the desert that taught by allegory. When he died his followers wrote an allegorical autobiography, and who we think of as jesus is just the ToLs character stand-in.
Of course the essay could have been talking out it’s ass, but it makes more sense to me than xtianity.

The last time I did a deep dive on the research, they estimated somewhere around 3% of the population had some form of chimerism, and I calculated my personal chances around 6%. And then I did some family research and anecdotal evidence pushed that number much higher, including being a single born twin.
One of the articles I recall postulated the number is much higher than 3% due to the condition only being confirmed or discovered through rare circumstances that result in multiple genetic testing.

Bitcoin wastes so much energy because it’s proof of work based which to my understanding is basically a bunch of computers churning out answers competing to be “first and correct” in order to print coins.
I like the idea of decentralized currency but the current execution of cryptocurrency leaves much to be desired.

It’s the result of decades of USAmerican propaganda, we’re left with a very fractured community system full of in groups and out groups and people terrified of or fighting with their neighbors and delivery services where people have literally paid someone to come to their door are high risk jobs.
Ironically, in the neighborhoods I’ve lived in, it was the lower income ones where kids roamed more freely because some parents had no other options than trusting their kid to walk alone. But their presence also created more safety from herd protection.
