I tend to rank addiction to withdrawal effects, weed withdrawal is probably somewhere between caffeine and nicotine for most people.
- Comment on Is cryptocurrency good for anything? 1 week ago:
I stand by my statement. I am aware of non pow crypto.
- Comment on Is cryptocurrency good for anything? 2 weeks ago:
Bitcoin wastes so much energy because it’s proof of work based which to my understanding is basically a bunch of computers churning out answers competing to be “first and correct” in order to print coins.
I like the idea of decentralized currency but the current execution of cryptocurrency leaves much to be desired.

There’s only a few suppliers for everyone, the main difference within a supplier is the different tiers of quality you can order.
- Comment on Is school cafeteria food in America trash? 2 weeks ago:
It’s literally the same food in some areas, 1 for 1, no false equivalences. Like I could go to jail and get served the same thing available in the school cafeteria.

Most Americans are so addicted to their synthetic corn sugar that they think “no sugar rush” = “hungry”
- Comment on If you found out your cousin was a billionaire (non-famous) and the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, how would you react? Would you be mad he didn’t tell you? 2 weeks ago:
Somebody would be getting a note demanding a reasonable ransom for my safe return in their Christmas card.
- Comment on British children are 3 times more likely than Dutch children to be obese. A British journalist explains why 3 weeks ago:
It’s the result of decades of USAmerican propaganda, we’re left with a very fractured community system full of in groups and out groups and people terrified of or fighting with their neighbors and delivery services where people have literally paid someone to come to their door are high risk jobs.
Ironically, in the neighborhoods I’ve lived in, it was the lower income ones where kids roamed more freely because some parents had no other options than trusting their kid to walk alone. But their presence also created more safety from herd protection.
- Comment on 18-26 year olds, How do you plan to dodge the draft? 4 weeks ago:
For anyone considering transitioning to dodge the draft, please consider you may actually be transgender, approaching transition from a direction that relieves guilt over gender conformity is pretty common.

North American Union.
Setup like the European Union with each state promoted to country status.

I’ve had insurance only cover exactly 30 days once per calendar month. Not much of a problem until you’re trying to pick up your refill on the 31st.
- Comment on Shout out to the NYE shift at all the Emergency Departments around the world. 3 months ago:
People who can’t afford the medical bills are better about avoiding accidents. Upper class types usually don’t get the memo until they’ve had to deal with an injury in their own circle.
- Comment on Not to get all religous but was not Jesus pissed for people making money in churches? Didn't he flip tables and everything? Then how do churches nowadays explain the collection plate? 4 months ago:
I do think the Abrahamic religions are bad as a whole, and things like the splintering of Christianity that allows everyone to go “oh no, that bad stuff isn’t MY Christianity” is just useful idiots providing cover for abusers.

We found a bat outside like this once, it was overheating. We carefully scooped it up and put in a tree nearby with a 100% fruit popsicle near. Had a little snacky drink then flew off

Once I was refusing a return because the customer never paid for the item, I explained how the item wasn’t on the receipt because the cashier made an error in their favor and they never paid for it.
My supervisor sent me to lunch and did the return to get the customer out of the store.

Same board three times: fresh veg on a clean board, raw veg after, then raw meat.

- Comment on Seems a sensible precaution 7 months ago:
Unironically, this is the way.
The main point of the missions is not to proselytize, but to remove these children from their families while finalizing the brainwashing into the cult. There is an effect where being yelled at/denied/turned away makes them feel persecuted for their faith and solidifies their need to belong to the group.

Which also reminds me I need to make sure my renter’s insurance is good before the 4th and pickup my pupper some CBD treats
