I’ve never done this to a friend or had a female friend do this to me, but so many guys seem incapable of dealing with feelings of disappointment without destroying a relationship.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Why does most of the world use WhatsApp as their messaging app rather than RCS/SMS?⁩ ⁨⁨1⁩ ⁨month⁩ ago⁩:

Some VoIP plans still charge per text/call. It’s cheaper if you don’t use much.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨On 9/11 what was the internet like after it happened? Did people quit being dicks or trolls and showed some decency? Or was it like we have today and nothing changed?⁩ ⁨⁨1⁩ ⁨month⁩ ago⁩:

It destroyed my friend group. One person was angry at basically all Arabic people, and her racism started lots of fights. I couldn’t get through to her, and didn’t know how to handle it. Everyone had a different reaction. We all just stopped talking.

I’ve noticed that modern shells often include a wifi status monitor but no way to view your network connection if you use ethernet.

Backup cameras are nice. Everything else listed is potentially troublesome or just unnecessary. I don’t even know what driving mode is.

It is common for an abuser to take away a victim’s phone, shoes, car keys, medication, etc in order to control them and make it difficult for them to leave.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Is it just the norm now-a-days for grocery stores to have lots of stuff on the shelves that's past the best-by date?⁩ ⁨⁨2⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

It’s always been common at certain stores. I don’t shop at those places. It does seem to be spreading, though.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Should I donate sperm?⁩ ⁨⁨4⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

I knew someone who had kids using donated sperm. Her husband wasn’t able to father kids because of a physical problem. I think she got to pick from a book of donors. She chose the same person for both of her pregnancies so her kids would be full siblings. I don’t remember her having anything negative to say about it. It seems like a service that’s useful for people in her situation.
