- Comment on Is there an anti- sleep-paralysis device? 1 week ago:
Yeah, not surprising that stress & anxiety caused by the current political climate would trigger this type of sleep disruption.
Any little things you can control that lower your physical, mental or emotional stress levels can add up to reduce the frequency of this happening. It’s not an all or nothing deal.
- Comment on Is there an anti- sleep-paralysis device? 1 week ago:
In addition to what other people have said, it can also be caused by having an irregular sleep schedule and stress. Working on those things might help it go away.

- Comment on Does anyone else notice an up tick in hostility on Lemmy lately? 2 weeks ago:
Yeah. I’ve enjoyed Lemmy casually for years, but this last year has really killed my desire to read or post here.
- Comment on ChatGPT will soon allow erotica for verified adults, OpenAI boss says 2 weeks ago:
People have been using AI for this for a while now. I pretty much stopped contributing to AI Horde because almost everyone who used it was using it to generate taboo (incest/bestiality/torture/kiddie stuff) sex roleplays.

IMO, it’s okay to have casual conversations without being an expert or researching every post. Redditors’ habit of fact-checking everything is honestly tiring. Conversation has other purposes besides education. I think many people are looking more for human interaction than for correct facts.
