I have a few thoughts.

-For the small DIY boats that are a risk. This doesn’t look like one. It looked more like a professionaly built craft. Perhaps it’s stolen or bought on the cheep but traffickers don’t like cutting into there profits for safety or sustainability.

-it doesn’t look like anyone is on it other than someone in full rescue gear. There is something on the floor but it doesn’t even look like life jackets. Where are the migrants?
- for a small boat it’s really small. I could see traffickers putting 30 people on that. The boats themselves are one way and seen as disposable and the trend is for bigger boats. Unless there is a change in tactic or they can’t get the inflatibal tubes this doesn’t make sense anymore?
The best way to “stop the boats” is to allow asylum applications while not on British soil. So they can take a ferry or a plane. It’s a catch 22 if you are in France but want to get to the UK.

He is but I think the scales need rebalanced to allow the UK to not make it into the final. And actually work for the final.

The only way this would be more efficient would for direct piping but this would be less efficient as you would need to create a network and not all stations would want to sign up. The airports in the UK operat this but this was so it’s harder to cut supplies off to airports as they are critical infrastructure.

I’ve herd of people dumping the news papers they had to deliver in order to say they diliverd them. But this is different. Doesn’t the guy need to get the invoice signed at every station?

Like any recurring events it’s boring reporting every deadly event in a city. Like suicides or school shooting. Next your going to want the wether to be news or sporting events to end every news show. Should they hire a different person to explain eather of these things.

Alot of previous winners haven’t had mainstream apeal. Some odd acts have done rather well. I suspect that he didn’t have the support he needed from the BBC or the prep work needed for a performance. He made his own set witch is typical Sam. He should have outsourced more to other people so he could control the overall picture and so he wasn’t fixing the set before he got on stage. The fact that he was on his own after a performance was indicative of what support he was getting.

The UK/bbc is also one of the major funders so it gets an automatic place in the final. So merit is not nessassery in the opening.

Like a system like the swiss bridges? They have marked points but don’t just leave the charges on the bridge. It flies in the face of conventional engineering to plan a failure point on something that should never fail. So all building are wired to go at any moment? You would think there would be a few more accidents and this would require a large and obvious agency to manage and monitor in secret. Considering how much demolition work costs it is not “easy” to bring a building down.

There is a worry from cyber security teams about unsubscribe buttons on emails. Linking to a dead site was probably the best thing they can do. Phishing a real issue. I have been auto junking messages like this but unsubscrive would be better if we could trust it and it actually stoped everything.

White and blue coller also don’t make sense in the modern working world. With many tasks in a factory being automated out and many jobs in a business looking more like an office tasks with higher skill sets needed. Manufacturing requires alot more planning and less people on the floor handalling products.

I had the same problem with a font where l and I look the same. I know removing uppercase i and lowercase L will reduce the range of randomised passwords but it is that or a different font.

The moon landing is easier to think of as faked now as we only get the highlights. Landing, flag and a few bounces. The actual moonwalk was a couple hours. They where setting up stuff, getting samples. Buzz was running around for some reason. People at the time had live evidence and where able to watch it at home.The only thing they didn’t have was chat distracting them and asking questions that had already been answered.

Sounds like a tax on those who need a catcher or can’t use the self checkout for various reasons. I could see stores just removing all the staff on the tills and switch to a self checkout only.
