Nuts have vitamins. I’m sure cheese and even bread has some too. Not the same ones as fruits and vegetables though.
But more to the point, I think that what you’re describing definitely isn’t due to vitamins. Maybe acid reflux or a food sensitivity? Ask a doctor about it if it’s a recurring problem for you.

What does that even mean, not eating vitamins for a day? They’re kinda hard to avoid. Are you talking about skipping a multivitamin or something?
I haven’t heard that such direct vitamin sensing is a thing. At most I’ve heard of people getting appropriate cravings when they lack a vitamin, and I’m not even sure whether that’s just anecdotal or an actual effect. Which vitamin do you think you’re sensing after just one day?
I would bet that whatever you’re experiencing is either
- due to different food choices altogether, like eating less fruit and vegetables or more junk food. That can definitely be noticeble to the GI-tract, due to different fiber and fat content.
- essentially an example of the placebo effect, and would fail to appear if you didn’t know that you took placebos instead of your vitamin supplements.

I’ve heard even poor college students can avoid scurvy by adding ketchup to their otherwise exclusively noodle-based diet. Bodies are oddly resilient in some ways.

Yes, but I only have a source in Swedish (specifically the later part of the video). To summarize: The national media SVT has this ‘task-force’ that verifies/debunks claims being spread on social media. In the video I linked to, they compare the clip Israel posted of Netanyahu getting coffee with pictures the cafe took and earlier posted pictures of the cafe. The same was done for the outside of the cafe shown in a different clip. Everything was highly consistent and unlikely to be AI. The only oddity, a disappearing ring, is likely due to video quality andor/ hand positioning.
