- Comment on Why do we eat dessert? 1 month ago:
i had just woken up when i posted this comment so I apologise for being flippant.
actually reading the post, point 3 is perfect. i actually do have “lunch-dessert” and ive had it all my life, never really having “dinner-desert”
so honestly, i like the question. “how did a sweet snack before bed become a cultural norm in the western world, and why/how did it beat out another, more optimal, point in the day?”

history happens slowly then suddenly.
the political class of the western empire had been pulling itself apart for centuries.

- Comment on Is Star Trek Discovery that bad? 7 months ago:
i think this clip really highlights all the issues i had with discovery.
kinda poor acting, cringe ass dialogue, boring and bland music, self aggrandisement, and too many obvious cgi ‘set pieces’.
new trek is action oriented space opera, not hard scifi morality tales. ig its just not for me

- Comment on Are fossil fuels vegan? 7 months ago:
if op cared about conversation there are many ways to go about that, asking what kind of perspective leads to an intertwining (or lack thereof) of veganism and a boycott of the fossil fuels industry, or op could have replied to my question in the edit explaining where the post idea came from and their own views on how the two things relate.
unfortunately, i think the cum fart just wanted an excuse to ‘call out’ veganism in this post they made a hour or two after this one.
- Comment on Are fossil fuels vegan? 7 months ago:
why? its not like veganism is a mandated institution, it’s merely a set of moral guidelines and perspectives.
- Comment on Are fossil fuels vegan? 7 months ago:
depends on the person, their motivation, environment, and lifestyle choices i guess. you could argue either way.
