I can also resell a physical disc. I can let my friend borrow my physical disc. I can continue to play my physical disc on a new account if mine is banned, corrupted, hacked, whatever. I cannot do those things with a redemption code.
It’s just a guess, but I think they’ll tie the installation to your account, or remove the game from your account if you lend the disc to someone else.

I am pretty sure that you need an online connections to Rockstars Server to install/activate the installation. Never ever they will let you install/play the Game if you can’t connect to the servers. Otherwise you could, as you already said, duplicate the game. Rockstar will try to prevent this. So what’s the difference between have the Files on a disk, vs. Download it from their servers if they could just flick the switch at any time and prevent you from starting the game.

It’s saved in a RAID system so theoretically I can risk one failure and still have a backup. On the other hand, the collection is available as a torrent with an acceptable number of seeders so I should be fine.

For me personally: Veganism is also about signaling to the outside world. Suppose I were to skin an animal that died naturally and make a jacket out of it, this would probably be the most ethical way to produce a leather jacket. But I still wouldn’t wear it, because by doing so I would signal to the outside world that it’s okay to wear the skinned hide of animals. Outsiders can’t know under what circumstances I got the leather.
It’s perhaps a bit more radical, but I also throw away non-vegan foods that I get unintentionally. Simply because I don’t want to project to the outside: “Here you go. I would never eat it because I find it unethical, but if you eat it, then that’s okay.”

I’m using Qobuz. As I know the pay the most to the artist ($0.01873 vs $0.004 ). Qobuz Family costs 20,83€ per months. And I think you get free access to a service which moves your Spotify playlists to qobuz.

No. If you can’t access your email Address they are telling you that you have to contact your email provider. I you want to start a live chat, you need to log in.
