This is one conspiracy I don’t get at all. What does a billionaire get from decreasing the population in Africa using vaccines? I mean even the “turning frogs gay with chemicals” conspiracy has some basis, but this one has no grounds at all.

There are different motivations for different scene groups, but it boils down to dislike the practice of DRM for most.
Though some groups did form for simpler reasons like seeing it as a fun challange to tackle.

A perfect example of how game studios should approach mods that improve the game itself.

Does anyone have the full leaked data? Just wondering its data labels, what does it fully contain? Discord and media outlets tell slightly different things about what leaked.

its interface puts anything steam related to the top, so in a sense it is advertising itself.
Let’s say you’re planning to get Silksong. You could buy it off from GOG by switching to desktop mode, running Heroic, searching back the game and buy it. Alternatively you can just search it on Steam and buy there with no previous steps.

Think about its benefit to you, could it negatively affect you if you don’t make up? Your working environment is a place you spend your time consistently, and if you think it’d make you more comfortable working there, it wouldn’t hurt to do so.
Yes, you’re there to work for money there, but your emotional state while working matters a lot too. I’d rather make just enough to pay my bills in a place I’m happy working, compared to a job I’d absolutely hate working that pays me millions.

- Comment on what boss in any video game has an insanely cool intro to them before fighting? 1 month ago:
TGM4’s Master Rounds stage intro is really cool. After hitting Lv.2600 on the hardest stage you can find in modern Tetris, it rings the stage clear tune. But suddenly, it starts playing a different track. Your level starts rolling back, and so does your moves and the timer. The song intensifies while doing so. Everything stops when the timer comes back to 65 seconds. That’s right, you’re racing against your previous self to hit Lv. 2600 again.
READY?
GO!!
It’s a really hard accomplishment to the point only three people have managed to get a Rounds grade play, but I’d love to achieve it anyways. I’m nowhere near getting Rounds (my max was Lv.816), but I think I can slowly getting there. Maximum gravity already feels hard, but with frozen minos I can’t really afford making a mistake.

Before the Steam censorship spectacle, they pushed quite hard against eroge sites until Japanese government stepped in and payment processor backed down as a result. We need a similar move for the western adult games.

- Comment on AI-generated search result descriptions 3 months ago:
There’s a reason why academic source citations recite which page are the citations from. Looking where exactly is the citation referenced from a first glance is a better experience than skimming through the whole source.
Yes, clicking at the post could help with the context since it’s mostly not that long. But seeing what exactly it references based on your search query is considerably more helpful than seeing just its summary.
- Comment on AI-generated search result descriptions 3 months ago:
The problem is when you’re searching up a problem, you typically want its whole context. If you need AI summarizarions, you would instead ask for it from your preferred AI, not search it.
