Hate to be that dude, but it’s a yearly reminder and development is much easier if the devs get paid. You might have your disagreements with the devs, but they still play a crucial role in its development.

It’s built into Lemmy, the software. It was not made by Lemmy.world, they just run it.

They should remove it immediately, and I’ve been spending more time on Piefed.world and I’ve even donated to Piefed development, but since Piefed.world is run by the same people holding up this banner I’ll probably move away from there, too.

You can’t take your posts and comments, you can’t even do that migrating from one Lemmy instance to another.
According to this post, you can migrate your account settings (including subscribed communities) from Lemmy to Piefed.
