- Comment on 32, f. Are there any dating sites that are actually free and don't suddenly force me to pay to actually use the site? 1 week ago:
The question i have is not even about dating but just making IRL friends. Stuff like meet-up is full of scams and professional networking. Where what I’m looking for is a site where I can find people that share my hobbies/interests.
I’m struggling with finding this kind of culture home too. I feel like meetup used to have more events in my area—and I’m practically in the the city and near big metro area—but ever since pandemic, I have no clue where to find people. Not that I did before because I’ve been a shut-in for most of my life but hot damn, I feel like eventually I will just finally give up and show up to a board game/card game event even though I’m not good at them. I would love if there was a calligraphy type of group thing in my area but I digress.

I live in The Netherlands, there are enough people here on the app to make it worth while. It’s how I met my new partner.
Congrats btw

Why feel patriotic for a country that literally stole/claimed what wasn’t theirs to being with? Never felt such a thing for this so called “first world”.

I’m all for Asus handheld becoming the future of Windows for consumer. Have little interest now in keeping it as a personal PC. Linux is the way now thanks to them force feeding Copilot and screen grabber.

I wish people would wake up to capitalism being the biggest scam and finally liberating the human race to an advanced way of life where we aren’t dying from famine or warfare and also don’t have to waste so much of our lives making like 3 people even more richer than they already were—but I digress. They’ll learn it the hard way it seems.

Legit question though—as someone who doesn’t get to participate in such activities but: do people who are active with this stuff and who perform it on a bed not wash it after hanky panky? Like I see in amateur stuff that some people definitely put towels on top of the bed and all that but hollywood movies make it seem like people still inevitably sleep in the bed naked anyway without washing themselves. So, all that grime is still bound to get on the blankets/sheets anyway. This has me thinking people do at least go out of their way to wash it or at least replace the sheets the next day but do they really? Asking for me…
