Just because they live in a clown world doesn’t mean we do.
Honestly at this point I don’t know if any Trump voters are intelligent enough to understand how wrong they are and how they’ve enabled really shitty people to do horrible things.
Like, genuinely, is it worth even trying to be nice or have a conversation in good faith when it’s basically impossible to do that even if you try. These folks are so far divorced from reality you can’t have a good faith convo because they don’t respect truth and won’t engage in good faith themselves.
You can’t really force these idiots to understand how wrong this shit is when they seemingly can’t even comprehend it. Like they’re just genuinely that fucking dumb.

It does seem like the pie chart is a little off from that but not by a ton, probably close enough for Internet stranger shenanigans

I want to know the source for that and if it’s actually accurate. It does feel right though.

Man I had a hard time understanding his vocals but that might have just been the sound mixing on the broadcast. Heard that it was clearer on YouTube or other places to watch just the performance by itself. Probably easier to make out in the stands, no idea though.
If I listened real hard I caught some of it but that’s probably also because my ears are not tuned well for a lot of hip hop just in general I have a hard time picking up lyrics for a lot of rap artists.
Still, you’re spot on with the racism perspective - honestly it’s just people whining it’s not “their” kind of music. Ok, well, taste is subjective and I thought it was a banging show even if I didn’t clearly hear everything he said. Conservatives just want to be racist but pretend they’re not racist. When I hear someone say, “I’m not racist,” 95% of the time it’s because they’re racist and said or did some racist shit.

Wonder where that is, the OP of the content from 2022 on his twitter profile says he’s from San Francisco area. Would be cool to find out what the place is.

Thank you for the lengthy write up. You see though the problem with watching it all is I’d be watching it all… I do appreciate the time it must have taken for this reply though.
That clip on YouTube you linked was super cringe. Agree with you on TNG there’s definitely times and episodes where I think the writers phoned it in and I’m not going to pretend it’s all good. Still my favorite star trek but I don’t watch much so that’s not saying anything considering I haven’t even seen any of the new stuff.

Not very far lol, a couple episodes to give it a fair shake though, do you have an episode recommendation?
- Comment on I liked Star Trek before it got woke. /s 3 weeks ago:
I really tried to like that show but it’s just … Bad. To each their own but I’d rather just rewatch TNG or whatever other Star Trek. That show feels like it doesn’t have an identity, the writers couldn’t decide what kind of show they were writing and the acting is subpar.
Of course, if you enjoy it that’s all that really matters - keep on watching and having fun!

This is the essence of doublespeak: contradictions in the smallest possible footprint, laid out glaringly and consumed with eager approval.
That’s what you’re doing literally right now. Dude makes a clear Nazi salute and you’re like “naaah surely the ADL can’t be wrong” like no fuck the ADL and their lies.

Japanese and other character languages (idk the linguistic term off hand) tend to encapsulate phrases or meanings to characters. So it isn’t the same as say translating from French to English. It is a lot more challenging plus context can change the meaning of characters too.

What is an emergency if not an extraordinary time? (I get what you’re saying too, just think it’s interesting as far as translation goes)

I found this one and it’s a fun little read but not sure it’s what you’re referencing.

I will vouch that even without the Phantom Liberty expansion Cyberpunk 2077 is fantastic. Phantom Liberty is awesome though, the story is intriguing and the new area is really well done. Everytime I visit Dogtown in that game I’m always like “damn this place is a fucking trash warzone,” the devs really nailed the vibes.
Anyways absolutely amazing game, and it’s half off it probably won’t go below half off for another year I’m guessing. Like you, I got into it after some major updates so I didn’t experience all the crap at release - to me the game is a masterpiece.

I think when you’re probably shooting (as in filming) stuff you can’t just shave your head in the middle of an ongoing project.
Otherwise I’d agree with the sentiment he should actually shave his hair but in this specific circumstance it doesn’t feel disingenuous.

Seconding chopsticks, they’re a little tricky to use but you get used to them with practice. It’s nice to not have gross hands after snacking.
Or you can also go the whole I’m a gross monster route and just shake the bag into your mouth, I’m certainly guilty of that.
- Comment on Anon gives up dating apps 3 months ago:
I think the problem most people have is that they expect things to happen instantaneously
In my experience it’s oftentimes men that are looking to date women way more attractive than them. Like some fat slob incel that refuses to date or bang a chubby chick and then gets mad they’re not picking up women that are hot AF and upset “nobody will date [them].”
It’s stupid, I know a guy on discord just like that. Unattractive fat guy and when I mentioned I think the biggest thing to coupling is being realistic and dating people about the same attractive level … Dude balked at that. Was like “what about a guy that has a great personality,” the man is delusional. No job, on food stamps and just getting by, living in a one bedroom (maybe studio?) apt, slobby and fat then hits the surprise Pikachu face that women don’t want to date him. Not to mention his social skills. Talk about a total lack of self awareness.
Sure maybe if you were extremely rich a woman might overlook your physical appearance but let’s be realistic here.
That to me is the problem most people have but I agree with the instantaneous thing too - it takes time to get in the groove so to speak. I’ve seen it go both ways gender wise just picking on my fellow dudes here.

I’m not down voting you and I applaud chasing your dreams, but a well paying, stable, fully remote job is not something to give up lightly.
Maybe that’s why people are down voting you? Not that they should but people be people.
Personally, I’m just some schlub on the internet, but I’d strongly advise you to reconsider leaving that kind of financial stability. At the very least you’ll need a pretty good amount of money saved up to live off of. Most indie games aren’t successful, most indie game companies fail. There’s a gigantic risk for you and a huge lost opportunity cost (your income & benefits, particularly benefits like health insurance if you’re in the USA) just to get started and on top of that you have to make something people want to buy.
Not doubting your talents but people would kill to be in your spot (remote, well paid, full time) - I’d think long and hard about the risk you’re accepting.
I do, however, wish you well and hope you succeed beyond your wildest expectations! Just something to chew on.
