I think that’s really up to interpretation. Her age seems to fluctuate in historical texts from her time.
She easily could have been younger than 18.
People didn’t really have any age of consent laws or any of that and her birth year can only be roughly estimated. So I’d say pick another princess lol

Honestly, I can see how someone would think insects and animals are different things given that we never call them animals like 99% of the time.
Plus they’re so different than say, a cat or bird or fish, it almost feels like they shouldn’t be called animals.
Of course, insects are animals, but I’ve heard people say way dumber things than that, things like, “Trump is not a pedo.”

Dude I was recently visiting Florida. I totally forgot the fascist bullshit laws about porn there, was gobsmacked I couldn’t view pornhub. 5 minutes and a free vpn on my phone and I was happily watching my preferred smut.
It’s so stupid how pointless the laws are, like it’s dumb easy to circumvent them.
Just some real bullshit waste of time. Plus a waste of money for companies that try to comply with the Florida law. Pornhub just decided if you’re in Florida you can’t even use pornhub because they didn’t want to spend the money and time to comply with the stupid ass backwards law.

Damn the thirst trap is real. Also the fact the profile pic looks like a vagina thing is so crazy (and obviously intentional). It definitely did make me want to see what the actual profile pic was though so +1 engagement point for the bot?

Life is politics, people enjoy trying to make this clean divisible line between “talking politics” and everything else but that line is non-existent.
Politics touches everything we do and interact with. Literally name anything and there will be some sort of rules and laws around it that impact whatever the topic of discussion is.

Idk I’m on lemmy.world and it seems fine? I think it’s just the default for most people since it was one of the earliest if not the first instance, would have to look it up.

Oh yeah I won’t pretend he didn’t move crowds to coalesce around the Nazi philosophy, he was obviously popular enough to pack stadiums.
Hitler and Goebbels, hell the whole Nazi party, we’re really good at the propaganda game. I’d say they really were one of the early pioneers of the use of mass media to steer people into alternate reality. Much like how we see social media being taken advantage of today.
- Comment on The ones and zeros and tens 2 months ago:
He wasn’t that eloquent honestly. Just … Boisterous, loud and probably about on par with Trump when it comes to just packing stadiums and getting people riled up over social problems. Problems that were complex but he had simple answers to.
I’m really tired of all this “Hitler was a genius” bullshit, not only did he make terrible military decisions but he ran a government that was in disarray all the time. Constant turmoil followed him and many changes in personnel in important offices oftentimes just seemingly at a whim.
Not saying you’re making that argument and honestly I get what you’re saying but my God I have met too many people IRL and online that would suck Hitler’s dick in an instant. You’re right though, this timeline is dumb as fuck.

Yeah we get it you’re awesome and whatever. Maybe if your coworkers were compensated for their efforts instead of taken advantage of they’d feel different about putting more work in.
Hell that last complaint you listed from your coworkers is literally the same thing you’re complaining about.
You’re still part of the proletariat, stop shilling for the bourgeoisie.

Cool, you’re shitting on people getting more vacation time and better pay for … What reason again? Because you got married and had a kid?
Use logic to make that make sense to me. Also I’ll hit you with some logic right here, your own in fact.
You know what work reform I’d love to see? One where pay is based on production.
Sweet, worker productivity has soared while ages stagnated. Paying people the same amount of money to do 32 hours of work vs 40 is a step making pay more aligned with production. Exactly what you want!

Sitting at home on my toilet married with a child. So I feel equally qualified to say this as you.
Fuck capitalism and that exploitation. What, you used to have empathy and care and now you’re a selfish asshole? How is that good, it’s definitely not funny, it’s just sad.

This is like the difference between normal and right. Like I know a ton of people normally search for answers by putting full questions in. With the advent of LLMs and AI being thrown into everything asking full questions starts to make more sense.
For actual good results using a search engine, for sure what you said is better.

Regular people are dumb af they elected that orange shit stain while he spit in our faces.

- Comment on Do spiders poop ? 5 months ago:
That article is really fuzzing up the definition of “poop,” I’d argue over half those entries are just how the thing poops weirdly. I guess if you get into semantics it may be technically true but I just consider pooping to be eliminating bodily waste so to me that whole article is like, “look how oddly these things poop.” 😅

Just because they live in a clown world doesn’t mean we do.
Honestly at this point I don’t know if any Trump voters are intelligent enough to understand how wrong they are and how they’ve enabled really shitty people to do horrible things.
Like, genuinely, is it worth even trying to be nice or have a conversation in good faith when it’s basically impossible to do that even if you try. These folks are so far divorced from reality you can’t have a good faith convo because they don’t respect truth and won’t engage in good faith themselves.
You can’t really force these idiots to understand how wrong this shit is when they seemingly can’t even comprehend it. Like they’re just genuinely that fucking dumb.
