I mean, you’ll get to see the difference between a bad and discriminatory democracy and a pure dictatorship soon enough. If you think an economical crash will bring back progressivism, I wish you good luck but I think it’s really naive. At this point with the gafam siding with pedo-president, they just wait for automation and AI to get a little further before getting rid of half of the country. And since it’s the US, the other half of the country will take care of it for them. An economical crash would be the perfect setup for this. I’m not even american but for the first time of my life I’m considering getting a gun.

I mean, I would agree if reddit wasn’t filled with hateful and violent post but it’s the case. Last week, I reported a popular post joking about rapping two women who OD just to get told to shut up by the mods. So the fact that this loser got the entire community banned just shows the type of justice you can expect from social medias controlled by tech-bros.

That’s a stupid analogy. The employees are not responsible for the bad management déecisions, they just want to be fairly paid for doing a job they like. Meanwhile “gamers” are fucking obsessed about trashing a game that isn’t out yet because “nO bLaCK SaMuRai iN my HiStorIc vidiyaGame aBout ficCtiNal chArcTers RuNNInG oN wAlls”. Just dont buy their games.

Steam is just another soul-less capitalist business. They employ less then 100 people but take 30% on every game sold. They would do the exact same things as Ubisoft if the estimate they could profite more from it.

IDK I have 200+ games and they all work. In terms of AAA I played all the recent Fallout, Doom, Tomb Raider and many others. I even played Hellblade in VR. Definitely good enough for me.

I just don’t play online games, never have. I can play pretty much any single player/coop game at medium/1080. Maybe most recent titles like Elden ring would struggle, but I have hundreds of games in my library and they all work fine.
I even made a small VR project with it although every manufacturers said it wouldn’t work. The GPU is a 1060.
Overall, I’ve spent around 600$ on this computer, over 15 years and it still a perfectly capable PC. I have another PC and Macbook for work, but the i5 has been our streaming/gaming pc for years.

I love Nirvana and was a huge fan immediately… But…I think people overestimates their reach. Me and my altern-rock friends where marginals at our school. I’d say less than 5% of the kids at my high school were into the grunge scene. Most of them listened to Eurodance and pop, hip-hop was starting to become mainstream. People kind of knew of them because of MTV, but most started to listen when Kurt Cobain died.
