Same here. Never even shot back. Only played a few matches but it’s simply not enjoyable and I didn’t come back to it.
- Comment on The show I was watching went from "Free" to "Paid" *while I was watching it* 4 days ago:
Sometimes Prime Video in Germany also used to only have dubbed versions of tv shows and movies. It was infuriating that I couldn’t watch the original versions. The service was also generally buggy and poorly made. I canceled Prime because it was so bad.

One of my absolute favorite games despite the many frustrating moments. I hope you‘ll stick with it. The fun increases significantly once you get the hang of it.
- Comment on If your federal government cut internet access to your whole town then where in your town would you think that "the people" would get together to protest ? 1 week ago:
Yeah I was gonna say: the town square? Seems kinda obvious since it’s usually one of the most crowded places and easy to reach for everyone.

They asked about Luanti and my comment was about that
- Comment on Anon does a drug bust 1 week ago:
I tried it a few times and did not like it very much. Like lots of open source games it was not all that well designed and lacked identity and direction. As the other person said, it might be a fun sandbox though.

As many others have pointed out, Microsoft made Minecraft shit. 10 - 15 years ago it was an awesome little game. Loved to play it with my friends on our server. Somebody was always online and you could talk, hang out, explore or do a project together.
Nowadays you open it and it has a shop and some ingame currency and weird collabs with popular IPs. That’s simply not what Minecraft used to be and whenever I watch a modern trailer for it, I wanna throw up.

Mine as well. There’s a class action lawsuit, I signed up for it.

There are tons of ways to make coffee and each tastes slightly different and some beans are better suited to be prepared in different styles. If people wanna enjoy coffee in a certain style, just let them. It’s fine that you like instant coffee but others might wanna prepare their coffee differently.

But what is missing? What’s your sort order? Hot or scaled work really well for me. Are you just looking at everything or did you pick communities to follow? How do you discover new communities?
- Comment on Is lemmy dying? 3 weeks ago:
I‘ve been seeing similar comments pop up a few times already and it always confuses me. Aside from some niche interests, lemmy feels very much alive to me and there are plenty of discussions to join.
- Comment on Reddit's AI Suggests Users Try Heroin 2 months ago:
I didn’t try this yet but why the fuck would Reddit even need an ai. Does anyone care? Will anybody pay for it? Or is it just because Reddit is a public company and stonks need to go up?
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
I read the BBC article but why would she even have to prove anything? That dumb ass conspiracy theorist should be obligated to prove their bullshit made up claim and lose the case.
- Comment on BlueSky has drama so the Fedi-Marketers are waking from their slumber 2 months ago:
I agree and a lot of the fediverse does a terrible job at it BUT i wish people would just understand tech a bit better.
It’s ridiculous to me how much time some people spend online / on their phone without understanding as much as what a URL is or how to change basic settings. There should really be better education around technology.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
It matters as soon as people record themselves using it „wrong“ or tutorials go viral. Especially for a company that is really concerned about its public image like Sony.

For when you really want to blend into the crowd and not be bothered by possible employers or recruiters. Fuck yeah, I might do that then.
- Comment on What is it called when you believe the U.S. political parties shouldn’t exist? 3 months ago:
I think parties are fine but a multi party system usually works much better since parties will have to make coalitions and will usually shit on each other a bit less.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 months ago:
That’s so disgusting. Together these company leaders have unprecedented power (much more than they should have) but instead of fighting this administration, they support it.
And no, this is ultimately not good for them. Yes, Trump is easily impressed by hollow compliments and meaningless presents, but he gets upset just as easily. A true lawful administration on the other hand might be annoying with its regulations but it gives you the ability to know what you’re up to and plan ahead for the long run.
Apart from all the other concerns, this behavior is incredibly short-sighted.
- Comment on Leave it to a Bezos-owned company to confuse customers and mislead them for profit. 3 months ago:
I remember that I wanted to subscribe to a German newspaper that advertised 6 months for 99ct or whatever. I wanted to see if the regular pricing after the 6 months was good but I had trouble even finding it and when I finally found it, the different subscription options were so opaque that I truly didn’t understand which plan to pick. In the end I didn’t subscribe. I have no idea why some companies make their offerings so inaccessible.

Lol same here. I wish Imgur stayed a simple image hosting site
- Comment on Is This Social Media? 3 months ago:
Which is not fitting because it’s much more social than something as superficial as Instagram - to me at least. Let’s call what we have here social media and the other stuff can be legacy, corporate or ad based social media which describes it much better.

Because one way or the other similar products made it into our mouths before. Shampoo running down your face and some of it enters your mouth is definitely not unusual.

- Comment on Is there ettiquite for following people on Instagram? 4 months ago:
Follow back who you like to follow. Some people might consider it impolite not following them back but I think that’s kinda silly.
I would approve follow requests always when you are following the person. Sometimes someone follows me but does not accept my request to follow them back and that always strikes me as kinda frustrating, especially if I don’t know who that person is.

Seriously, nothing has ruined exercising as an adult as much as gym class. It took me YEARS after being out of school to finally enjoy running.

I got kinda caught up in Dig Dig Dino but to be honest, I‘m lagging behind in giving the newer games a fair shot since the release of the Switch 2 has distracted me slightly
