Perhaps you used the wrong pronoun in your post.
- Comment on So, is the USA screwed? 1 day ago:
The US Constitution had plenty of ways to control someone like Trump. Not the least of which is the absolutely clear barring from public office for life of anyone participating in an insurrection. It’s just that the people in charge of enforcing these statutes lacked the courage to enforce those statutes. Legal statutes and so forth are useless if they aren’t enforced.

I think our present situation became inevitable once the loathsome Newt Gingerich convinced the GOP that people who disagree with them are an enemy to be destroyed rather than people who need to be convinced or compromised with.

I am a gun owner and there are three places for your firearms, at home, at the range, and while hunting. Restricting uses to those uses would do a world of good in reducing gun crime.
- Comment on So, is the USA screwed? 1 day ago:
One can at most wield two firearms. And one is most effective concentrating on just one. The booger eating mouth-breathing MAGAts may own many more guns than the rest of us. But they can only use one or two at a time. And lots of us ALSO own some firearms. We just usually don’t make a fetish of them. Furthermore, owning a bunch of different caliber weapons complicates your supply issues. I have concentrated on 7.62x51/.308, 12 ga, and .45.

When has the DNC last helped us regular people? I abandoned that sclerotic. spineless, feckless, ineffectual organization over a decade ago.

One can argue that Felon 47 is a different president. Two bad presidents as evil as Trump and Musk will sink the US.

I had a friend who with a partner had a small framing contracting company in Texas. He told me that they would only hire Mexican Americans/Mexicans because white boy bubbas we’re lazy and only want to fish.

They are probably serial so the resistance would be distributed between the 6 loads and thus the heat produced would be similarly dispersed. Hence even 150 W of power would be split between 6 25 W power draws.

Because we have to get up to pee a bunch of times during the night and eventually can’t sleep at all so we get up for the day. Which results in our being tired AF and having to go to bed early.

I left two cents in mine and just left it as is. I like to think that every time those pirates send me a letter telling me I have 2 cents left or send me checks which I don’t cash it costs them money.

If it’s such a loss to society, perhaps something should be done about society’s economic structure and how it partitions rewards. Rather than throwing shade on someone for making an economically advantageous decision.

TBH, I don’t blame her in the least. It’s hard enough for men. I can’t imagine what it must be like for women to endure misogyny on top of what men go through in STEM.

That’s not the Caduceus, the symbol of logistics en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus. Which is often but improperly used these days as a medical symbol in place of the Rod of Asclepius, which has only one snake and no wings. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_of_Asclepius

Additional trials can be avoided through Jury Nullification. Which is what I’d be doing were I empaneled onto the jury that will decide his fate. What would be even better would be that multiple members of that jury engage in Jury Nullification.

- Comment on When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords? 2 months ago:
There are parasites and there are big parasites. Being a land lord is inherently parasitic to a certain extent. And we were ourselves landlords for a while. When a job took us out of state, we didn’t want to leave where we were so we rented out our house for under market rate until we returned. In my opinion, we were still being parasites to a limited extent.
