This is just sad. Or posted by a time-traveler that forgot when they are.

They are probably serial so the resistance would be distributed between the 6 loads and thus the heat produced would be similarly dispersed. Hence even 150 W of power would be split between 6 25 W power draws.

Because we have to get up to pee a bunch of times during the night and eventually can’t sleep at all so we get up for the day. Which results in our being tired AF and having to go to bed early.

I left two cents in mine and just left it as is. I like to think that every time those pirates send me a letter telling me I have 2 cents left or send me checks which I don’t cash it costs them money.

If it’s such a loss to society, perhaps something should be done about society’s economic structure and how it partitions rewards. Rather than throwing shade on someone for making an economically advantageous decision.

TBH, I don’t blame her in the least. It’s hard enough for men. I can’t imagine what it must be like for women to endure misogyny on top of what men go through in STEM.

That’s not the Caduceus, the symbol of logistics en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus. Which is often but improperly used these days as a medical symbol in place of the Rod of Asclepius, which has only one snake and no wings. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_of_Asclepius

Additional trials can be avoided through Jury Nullification. Which is what I’d be doing were I empaneled onto the jury that will decide his fate. What would be even better would be that multiple members of that jury engage in Jury Nullification.

Contact your prof and explain the mistake. When I was a prof, I would have been amused by your brain fart and probably wouldn’t have docked you much, if at all, if you explained what happened.
- Comment on When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords? 1 month ago:
There are parasites and there are big parasites. Being a land lord is inherently parasitic to a certain extent. And we were ourselves landlords for a while. When a job took us out of state, we didn’t want to leave where we were so we rented out our house for under market rate until we returned. In my opinion, we were still being parasites to a limited extent.

When doing my NIH traineeship, in the new lab, it came to be my turn to do the monthly radiation inventory. When going down the list, while checking the radio labeled nucleotides and labeled reagents in the freezer etc, I came across an entry for 600 Curies of Co 60! Freaking out I immediately went to the PI and told him about this. He laughed and said someone had to be responsible for the campus radiation source and since our lab used it a lot to make feeder cells, we were the lucky custodians of said source. I did get quite the fright though!
