I see. Now that I think about this, it wasn’t so nice for the first year afer breaking up with my ex. Still, I enjoyed it before and now I enjoy again.
Thanks for the explanation!

But I love this feature.
Is it universally hated or what? I had no idea.

I’m so with you. I don’t think I know a single person who has seen Breaking Bad and didn’t like it. Meanwhile I hated it.
- Comment on Good to exercise at home instead of gym? 5 weeks ago:
You can absolutely workout at home with almost no equipment. You will need something for pull ups and that’s pretty much it. Google “calisthenics” - that’s what bodyweight exercises are called. It’s a whole world of knowledge with books, blogs and YT channels covering the topic. Many would argue that this type of exercise is actually healthier than using gym equipment.
I started doing this 4 years ago and I can highly recommend it. I hate public places like gym and I don’t like wasting time for getting there and back so exercising at home is perfect for me.

Right?! It’s the same for me!

Apparently my way of consuming YT is very different from most people. I do rely on subscriptions feed, but I have never used notifications. The feed still works perfectly - for me at least.
Just out of curiosity. Why do you need notifications? Do you try to watch the videos as soon they are posted?

I’m not surprised by those results at all but I think it’s a very good thing to see some actual research and numbers.

This also probably increases the chance that they will actually look at the cable and touch it instead of just answering that it’s obviously plugged in. Brilliant!

People are discussing the word “horse” as if it’s present in the image, but it’s just some garbled shapes, not even letters, except for “h” and two "o"s. WTF?

If you’re excited only because he would be excited then it’s clearly for him and I don’t see how there’s any room for doubt here.
Also, no matter how much my partner’s boob size would differ from my personal preference, I wouldn’t want them to go through surgery to change that. In fact, just considering that would probably make me worried about their priorities and respect towards their body.

Ok, the park I’m imagining is definitely a safe, public space. I meant something like a city park, not a national park or something, maybe that wasn’t clear.
- Comment on Anon tries to understand his coworker 5 months ago:
Yeah, I guess it does makes sense if you’re meeting with a complete stranger. Personally I would still prefer something like a walk in the park but this probably just comes down to personal preference.

Good points, I agree.

Well, I read like a hundred times that going for a coffee is an incredibly boring date idea and doing some activity you both actually enjoy is much better.
For what it’s worth, I hate the idea of a coffee / dinner date. Seems incredibly forced and like some kind of an interview. Though, I’m not dating and not interested in doing it, so I might be completely out of touch.

WTF? Why?
Me and my friends always thank each other after spending fun time together, how is it even controversial?

- Comment on Anon has their wisdom teeth removed 7 months ago:
WTF kind of drugs your dentist’s give you? When I had my wisdom teeth removed I just got local anesthesia which made my mouth area numb and insensitive to pain for a few hours. I could literally drive home immediately after the procedure if I wanted to. Europe, for reference. Does this differ between the countries so much?

Right, true!

I mean, yeah, that’s the point of compression. I don’t quite get what you mean by that comment.
- Comment on Pandas 8 months ago:
I really don’t think that’s a lot either. Nowadays we routinely process terabytes of data.
- Comment on Pandas 8 months ago:
Oh, I know, believe me. I have some painful first-hand experience with such code.
- Comment on Pandas 8 months ago:
I think portability and easy parsing is the only advantage od CSV. It’s definitely good enough (maybe even the best) for small datasets but if you have a lot of data you need a compressed binary format, something like parquet.
- Comment on Pandas 8 months ago:
Is 600 MB a lot for pandas? Of course, CSV isn’t really optimal but I would’ve sworn pandas happily works with gigabytes of data.
