- Comment on Frostpunk creators cancel "Project 8" and lay off staff amid concerns that "narrative-driven, story-rich games" don't sell 2 weeks ago:
It’s not the customers like stories or not; it’s customers want good stories.
If that guy’s aiming is that bad at reading the market, it might be just a good thing he is not going the story path.
It sucks for the people being layoff though.
- Comment on Diablo 1 and 2 devs secure $4.5 million for a new ARPG: 'We're going back to what made those early Diablo games feel so awesome but taking them in some cool, fresh directions' 2 weeks ago:
Please, don’t make it a DRPG.
Like in Dodge Roll Playing Game. I hated POE2 for that.
Dodge,Dodge,Dodge,Dodge, hit once, Dodge,Dodge, hit, get hit, die.
Shiiittt, it’s 4 dodges!
Restart for another 5-10 mins. That’s not hard, that’s annoying.
Please, don’t make that new game into a Dodge fest please…

Money talks.
Don’t buy the game.

Those kind of crap should not be posted. What is the point of posting in here a page that is only saying that something is going to be said in the future.
That’s fucking nothing, it’s not even bland, it’s fucking nothing, a white empty page.
What do you gain from posting this shit here?

- Comment on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Devs Reveal The Game Is Releasing Earlier Than Expected 4 weeks ago:
I hope it’s going to be done… We have seen our share of “releases” in pathetic and unfinished states.
Anyone remember City Skylines 2? It’s still unplayable - that killed the franchise.
- Comment on Chivalry 2 Developer Torn Banner Lays Off an Unknown Number of Devs 5 weeks ago:
All the money is gone in the flop. No more/enough cash flow for the cost of doing business. Layoff to cut the costs.
Less resources to develop. The spiral of death.
- Comment on Technical ambition, optimism, and timeframes: what we learned about The Witcher 4 from speaking to CD Projekt Red 5 weeks ago:
I went for The Witcher 4 news, I got fed with corporate bullshit and cyberpunk things.
0/10, would not recommend.

- Comment on Steam is 'an unsafe place for teens and young adults': US senator warns Gabe Newell of 'more intense scrutiny' from the government if Valve doesn't take action against extremist content 1 month ago:
I am not a boomer, but I am starting to be an old fart myself.
Guess what the older generations said about video games back then? Satanic, create violence, hyper sexualization…
And at the end of the day, we didn’t end up as violent atheists watching porn on a portable device…
(For the people wondering, this post is a joke)

After Ubisoft blaming incels for their poor sales, what will be their reason for that strike?
Blaming “the new generation”?
- Comment on 12 Years and $700 Million Later, What's Going on With Star Citizen's Development? 2 months ago:
Like any of these games, you need to change the key bindings.
I have a set that I use in all space sim. What I am trying to say is that the control can be the same as any other space sim.
This type of game might not be your kind of stuff.

All party crpg like pillars of eternity, Baldur’s Gate, and the like.
JRPG maybe…
- Comment on Steam's new disclaimer reminds everyone that you don't actually own your games, GOG moves in for the killshot: Its offline installers 'cannot be taken away from you' 2 months ago:
You need to “get it together” and buy games for your platform.
“That’s ridiculous”

I take down votes like a small win. Most people are going to down vote if you are rocking their boat by shattering their little illusory world.
- Comment on Ex-Blizzard Boss Wanted To Cut Down On Microtransactions In Diablo IV And Beyond 2 months ago:
My bullshitometer is ringing.
It’s easy to say you wanted xyz, bbuuttt the evil Microsoft arrived and it’s all its fault now.
Look, those microtransactions were there from the beginning, before Microsoft bought Blizzard. Nothing changed since, not before, not after the acquisition.
Cut the crap already.
- Comment on Massive generational gap: Gen Z flocks to multiplayer, while 55+ sticks to single-player 2 months ago:
My old ass can’t compete in multiplayer games anymore.
Now I enjoy my slow pace / turn-based games when I want to relax.
It makes sense to me the older we get, the less time we spend gaming.
If I have to trade a solid 8 hours of sleep or play 1 hour or 2, the bed is winning.
- Comment on Qanga is an indie Star Citizen in a seamless universe with no loading screens 3 months ago:
I downloaded it, the tutorial part is working great, but once I loaded the “a real” offline game, the framerate went to -10fps…
I am sure it’s due to my laptop using 2 video cards… It’s sad, but I have to pass on that one…
