- Comment on Twisted Metal season two crashes onto Peacock on July 31 17 hours ago:
I really enjoyed it, but I felt it was flat at times when it shouldn’t have been. I can’t decide if it was the writing or the delivery of lines that caused it.
Still overall it definitely was a fun ride and I am looking forward to season 2.
- Comment on Are there any ongoing series you're watching currently that you're worried will be cancelled or quietly forgotten? 4 days ago:
Good cop/bad cop. It’s a fairly light hearted procedural on the cw. Doesn’t seem to fit with the cw’s other programming.

Damn, that shits evil. I feel for the man.

It goes by so damn fast. It’s just so good.

Ooo good, I didn’t think it would get another season.
- Comment on What TV show were you highly excited for, but ended up quickly disappointing you? 1 week ago:
The more I watch Suits LA, the more I enjoy it. Yes, a lot of the characters are just copies of the main cast, but if you can ignore that it’s fun enough for a turn your brain off show.
- Comment on What TV show were you highly excited for, but ended up quickly disappointing you? 1 week ago:
Season 4 was almost as big a let down as game of thrones season 8. They did Maeve so damn dirty.
- Comment on Which shows have you watched this week? 1 week ago:
If you haven’t seen it, Santa Clarita Diet is good. It’s kinda like iZombie (but not really). Only problem is it ends on a major cliff hanger (fuck netflix).
If you like Psych, try So Help Me Todd.
Only made it a couple seasons before being axed despite decent numbers. I don’t remember it ending with any major cliff hangers but plenty of loose threads.

Just binged The Bondsman the other day. I enjoyed it. Kevin Bacon was entertaining as Hub.
- Comment on What are your go-to lame low quality shows? 1 week ago:
Well except for a few episodes anyways. His dog and brother’s episodes come to mind as ones I can’t ‘tune’ out.
- Comment on Horses ARE Forever 2 weeks ago:
They do, but it’s an easy fix. Just need a poop bag that catches it as it falls.
- Comment on What is a TV show that was one of your favourites, but just went on for far too long? 2 weeks ago:
Omg yes! Even small fights take multiple episodes to get through with everyone always monologuing to everyone else.

Man they repeatedly dropped the ball with Fear.
TWD I can actually rewatch (or at least I’m not repulsed by the idea) but they changed things up so many times in fear its like watching 5 different shows.
And I am still so very salty that what was supposed to be about the start of the apocalypse quickly jumped to post apocalypse.

Good Cop/Bad Cop.
Nothing ground breaking but very reminiscent of USA’s Blue Sky era.
It’s an enjoyable palet cleanser.

Based on a comment in another thread about canceled shows, I’m watching Blood Drive.
I’m really enjoying it. Only one episode left :[
- Comment on A Fifth John Wick Will Happen, Come Hell or High Water 4 weeks ago:
The wick movies have turned into the fast and furious movies.
Starts out fantastical but ‘grounded’. Then each successive movie goes even more bonkers.
I started checking out by the 3rd movie. No desire to see another unless they go back to a more grounded approach.
- Comment on Is there a way to watch DS9 whole skipping the prophet & pah wraith plotline 5 weeks ago:
How I absolutely loathe Kai Winn. Phenomenal job by Louise Fletcher.
And Marc Alaimo is a deliciously layered Gul Dukat cake.
Probably my favorite villians in all of Trek because of the performances.

- Comment on What movies have you watched this week? 1 month ago:
Watched a couple movies.
The Gorge - went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Some really cool designs for creatures and environment.
Story needed some refinement though.
Loves Hurts - I enjoyed it, but it was tonally inconsistent which really hurts the whole imo.

I wouldn’t necessarily believe a guy saying that either.

I absolutely love “What Dreams May Come”.
I think it may have been the first serious role I saw him in.
- Comment on Maybe, just maybe, a company that refuses to give you time off if you have a bullet inside of you is a really really shitty company 3 months ago:
Request for leave is for longer term absence.
Still shitty
- Comment on If you are a young person you have no idea how bad everyone and everything smelled until at least the 1990s. 3 months ago:
Yeah weeds pretty much the same, the tar from the smoke sticks to everything.
I think the scent chemicals just break down faster.

Even as a smoker I hated indoor smoking.
- Comment on If we eat three meals a day, why do we poop only once? 3 months ago:
I usually have to poop 2-3 times after I wake up, the 1st time is usually a dud, then the moment I step out of the bathroom is when things loosen up and I can actually go.
Then sometimes a 3rd time after I’ve moved around a bit more getting ready.
- Comment on Guy never bought a game on the Epic Store... Owns 200+ 3 months ago:
In the past couple years, I’ve gone from buying exclusively from steam to prioritizing buying/rebuying single player games from GOG.
Multiplayer games are still mostly through steam for convenience - same with VR games/games with VR mods.
I just wish GOG Galaxy was better. Development seems kinda stagnant.
I constantly have issues with the plugins to access other storefront libraries among other things.

I usually solo trip as well.
I’ve never had a bad trip, but I know folks who have.
I just took some time years ago to come up with a rough plan to deal with bad trips before one became an issue.
A couple of comedies and my old standbys of Baraka and Samsara for comfort if needed.
A few different music playlists with different vibes to tweak my headspace in whatever direction I wanna go.
And a designated safe space that I’ve never needed to use.

Thats like the more people killed by cows than sharks thing.
There are more cows and people near cows than sharks and people near them.
As a “socially” acceptable and legal drug, more people use alcohol than shrooms so of course the incident rate is higher.
- Comment on Mental health 3 months ago:
I love that people are dumb enough to downvote common sense.
Even experienced trippers shouldn’t go it alone if they’re not in a good headspace.
Even in a good headspace it’s risky (physically and mentally) to go on a trip alone.
