I’ve only seen Legal Eagle’s highly edited reaction to the first episode, bit holy hell from the little I saw I never want to see any.
Bad writing, well above the level of suspension of disbelief, totally stupid scenarios that come straight out of a 7 years-old idea of what’s like being a lawyer. Like I get it, nobody expects perfect realism from a tv show, but you don’t need to be a practicing laywer to feel the writers are pretending you are stupid and try and write scenes that just don’t make any sense and feel like fake arguments you imagine under the shower.
And the characters are these obnoxious alpha-male machos that try and fuck over each other and desperately try to not seem weak in front of others. Maybe this show is so meta to ridiculize the current 21st century man that it goes all around, who knows.

Suits LA is pretty much the opposite of Suits in that respect. It feels a lot more lighthearted than Suits or Pearson.
While there still is macho man bullshit it is nowhere near the level of Suits. And there’s a ‘softness’ to most characters that is displayed a lot more than Suits ever showed.
