Murderbot: Loved the books, not quite sold on the series yet. The lead being male didn’t take me out as much as i expected (murderbot’s gender is never mentioned in the books and i always imagined it female). My biggest gripe is how short the episodes are, especially when they release weekly (after getting 2 in the first week). For anyone considering it i would probably recommend to just wait until the season is done and then watch it all at once. I planned to do that after the first two, but ended up watching the third this week aswell. Episode 3 is only 23min long opening credits included, for which you can substract another 1.5min or so. The first book is relatively short with 144 pages (according to goodreads), but if that is not enough for a proper season, then they should have maybe just combined the first two?

The Last of Us: Good, but not great. Maybe having the comparison to absolutely outstanding shows like Severence, the Pitt or Andor this year makes it feel weaker.

Love, Death & Robots: Very weak season. Opening it with what is basically just a Red Hot Chili Pepper music video kind of set the tone as to what quality to expect from it.

Murderbot's just started on apple tv. I really enjoyed the books, so I'm hoping the tv series can catch the spirit of them. Too early to say from the first two episodes if that's the case, but enjoying it so far.

I caught up on Daredevil: Born Again as well as the first season of The Punisher. Was impressed that the original main cast was retained over the last 10 years.

It helps that, for some reason, most of the cast never hit it big(ger).

Charlie Cox did little between the end of Netflix Daredevil and his cameo in Spider-Man. Once he was in Spider-Man I’m sure he kept his schedule generally open as things ramped up for the new show.

      Vincent D’Onofrio, same boat.

Jon Bernthal had a little better luck, but again basically the same boat.

That’s unfortunate. I hope they all get their flowers once this show is over.

I’m watching the traitors, Australia. Like it but not as much as the uk or American.

Dipping into murderbot. Like it. It’s off beat and odd, but not as funny as it wants to be.

Grand designs. Always good, but a binge becomes repetitive. They all self manage poorly and half get pregnant half way through the build. Houses and architecture are great as always, but I think occasional viewing might be better.

      Grand designs

One of my guilty pleasure shows. I’d love to see more actual “Grand designs” with people , but as you said more often then not it is not quite unlike reality tv.

Duster came out on HBO and I loved the pilot. Stars are Josh Holloway, Keith David, Sydney Elizabeth, and the 1970s.

My wife and I are now determined to bring ‘Far Out’ back.
