Damn right, all children look the same anyways, and I’m not being child-phobic, I even have child friends myself, and I treat them as if they were people.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help! I’ll do some reading and add this to my list of projects. Maybe not in the near future, but definitely will.

Does that mean I have to make my own E2EE or something? Can we do the same thing but for Telegram? I’m somewhat of a noob with this self-hosting thing, but it sounds like an exciting project. Where can I learn more?
- Comment on End-To-End enshittified 3 weeks ago:
You can do that? Got ant resources on how to do it?

I think it’s the only type of pencil you can use, not the only pencil.
As in: you can get as many of your preferred pencil as you need, but you cannot use any of the others.

Every so often this sub’s discourse is completely dominated by “beans”. Quite literally; except for that one time when we all seemed to be obsessed with “orbs” or that other time with “vans” (I might have got that one wrong, can’t remember which sub it was). But even then beans were un-escapable.
There’s an “I guess we make [x thing] now” meme that explains it somewhere here, I’m sure. Feel free to take a look at older posts.
Anyhow, I got a good laugh out of some of these, and I can tell you’re very polite and understanding, so keep it up! And welcome to Lemmy :D

I love KDE, I’m using it with artix on my laptop and here on my desktop with arch, and it’s so incredibly reliable and customizable. I’ve wanted to try some tiling window manager for a while, but haven’t decided where to start. I’m looking mostly for stability, if you’ve got a suggestion.
