Somewhat yes, nature usually tries to adapt to the environment, we are adapting the environment to us.
I haven’t seen any other animal building roads and factories and cities.
- Comment on I must con(FeS₂), this sparked a laugh 24 minutes ago:
Kind of, humans were hunter gatherers for so long that we evolved to be good at it, so I guess that’s what would be natural for us.
Agriculture and our current life hasn’t been around long enough for us to properly adapt to it.
I have no idea if those societies were patriarchal or matriarchal, I would imagine both happened or maybe even some sort of equality, if you want to know more about this go ask an expert in the field.
But in the end I don’t care what you do, I just continued your argument.

Agriculture is already somewhat unnatural, so I guess a “natural” life would be hunter gatherers.

Which is related to sex in some way.

I’ve never seen you post something that is not related to sex in some way, so yeah you are definetly a horny poster for me.
I don’t mind though.

I just got a used portable air conditioner for 50€ which I can easily run from my solar system. Problem solved.

After doing this it almost completely works, every few months it still shows shorts and then I click this button again for a few more months of no shorts

I’m happy I did.
- Comment on Anon tries watching nu-Trek 1 month ago:
That and the only time that something remotely interesting happens is at the start or end of an episode.
It’s so that you start watching the episode and then at the end want to watch the next one and it disgusts me because it feels so manipulative.
This is not a soap opera, it’s supposed to be star trek.

They are very closely related anyway. I have a few plants in my garden that are hybrids of raspberries and blackberries.

It was a pretty new Audi Q5 from the drivers school
- Comment on is white light "white" because that's what our start emits? 1 year ago:
Correct, if we go to a red dwarf star after a few minutes we would also percieve the light as white if it isn’t extremely red.
- Comment on I'll just take the bus 1 year ago:
In an automatic the car decides when to shift gears and to which gear. And it also decides how softly or hard it should do this. In a manual car you have to do all of this yourself, but that also means you decide when and how to do it.
- Comment on I'll just take the bus 1 year ago:
It depends on the car, my first car used gasoline, so the idle torque was low and you really needed to push the gas at the same time, otherwise it would stall, maybe not if you are releasing the clutch extremely slow, but that is not practical.
My current diesel car has so much torque even at idle that you really don’t need to press the gas pedal while releasing the clutch.
- Comment on Anon eggs her on 1 year ago:
Yeah, I’d probably try to awake her first, if that is impossible, turn her around so if she pukes she doesn’t suffocate and then call an ambulance.
Here in Germany we don’t go out of a hospital with any medical debt, so I wouldn’t be doing her a disservice.

If you buy the phone to use it ourself, doesn’t that mean that it is a personal item?
- Comment on succession 1 year ago:
A forest floor shouldn’t be heavily compacted, that would also lead to the leaves breaking down instead of just laying there.

And then there are people like me, who don’t have the biggest friend group and it’s predominantly male. And my workplace is also highly male dominated. So I don’t have any women that I know that I could ask out.

I’m pretty sure scientists back then could have told you that these balloons are too small. The person(s) who drew that picture most likely wasn’t a scientist, which is why it looks how it looks.

Yeah, it would be funny if the car is so crappy that he can somehow open it with his foot, but the wife/gf part is just boring.

Meanwhile, Dubstep failed to get mass appeal in Europe while DnB is still going strong, granted it isn’t big in every country, Germany sadly included, but it doesn’t look like it it’s going away anytime soon.
I actually listened to Dubstep before I started listening to DnB. I switched because of Riddim, a lot of melody was suddenly gone.
- Comment on Iraq War was preceded by the largest worldwide non-violent protests in history and the war happened anyway. 1 year ago:
Yes, but also no. The GDR and the Soviet Union who supported it and supplied it were both almost bankrupt and economically broken. Infrastructure was falling apart because the state couldn’t afford to fix it.
The potests sure helped, but the government of the GDR was also in a state where it would accept the demands as a way out. The protests probably did accelerate the downfall a bit, but it would have happened either way.
Similar protests years before were leading nowhere.

Holy shit, 300mg caffeine sounds insane to me (a German). Over here Energy Drinks are not allowed to contain more than 32mg caffeine/100ml. So a big can (500ml) would have 160ml. Those are already a bit too much for me, I can only imagine how 300mg would feel.
- Comment on Anon takes a driving test 1 year ago:
Same here in Germany, if you only do it once or twice safely you will still pass. I dont know if you would pass if you do it every time. I sometimes also confuse left and right, but it only happened in the lessons a few times, not in the test.
