- Comment on J.D. Vance, in the Mix to Be Trump’s Running Mate, Denounces Witness 4 days ago:
Well let’s see:
The first chapter of his book spends an insane amount of time complaining about Appalachian people taking bathroom breaks during company time, and another chapter claims he was frequently forced to urinate for his mother so she could pass drug tests, I think its a good chance whatever isn’t false is highly skewed through fox poisoning.
The made up part: urinalysis can tell the difference between male and female urine, and the urea breaks down after about a half house (drug testing facilities almost always have you wait at least 20 minutes to circumvent cheating). So at least 1 story is unequivocally false.
As for the Appalachian people needing too much time to poop, I doubt it is because of a lack of work ethic, but rather the opiates he suggests all of them are addicted to.
I read it… I mistook the title for a different more scholarly work. I finished it because it is actually as good as you will get if you want to discover how children turn into sociopaths, written by an actual sociopath.

KGRG is world famous among radio fans. Those kids have the pulse.
- Comment on How do people actually dumpster dive to get free food? Are there any other cheap/free ways like this to get food? 1 week ago:
Unfortunately, all the edible food at grocery stores gets taken to the food bank.
Large grocers have Garbage’s that are not accessible from the outside, but the only food they throw in there is from the hot bars.
Your best bet is trying at a local health food store, if they have a hot bar or deli counter. Their dump times are between 2-3 and around 7:30-8 (food must be dumped after sitting in hot plates for four hours, assume the hot bar opens at 10 and closes at 7).

I am taking bets on this getting worse reviews than Jack.
The CGI is awful.

I gotta watch it again now.
Does the 4k include the extended cut?
- Comment on After waiting over twenty years, I finally have The Abyss in 4K 2 weeks ago:
The extended cut of Aliens is mostly just additional scenes from the first act, right? I can’t remember any changes once the action starts up, but its been about 20 years since I watched either.

Something about me everybody should know, I like big women, whether that be height or width.
- Comment on Movie lines people laughed at in theaters despite not actually being intended to be funny? 2 weeks ago:
The only part of Oppenheimer I loved was when Oppie met Downey Jr.'s character. Oppie says, "You are a working man, I can respect that.
Downey: were you also a working man?
Oppie: no, but my father was.
I was the only person in the theater who laughed at this line and the people in front of me did not appreciate it.

Thank you for the correction.

Modern birds almost certainly evolved directly from the Dramaeosaurus, not T. Rex, but otherwise, great meme.

Ahh yes, back when humans hadn’t created the eyedrops that allowed us to see color, everything was sepia.

While that is true, it ignores the fact that not all consumption is equally unethical.

I don’t think we can blame Dick’s schizophrenia on having read The Cave.
I think you would have been closer to the truth if you had blamed it on the guilt he carried from having murdered his twin sister in utero.

You mean the people who hang out on a website mostly only used for spreading revenge porn aren’t right wingers?
Huh, I had no idea.

Anybody know if the Mexican cucumber flavor is making a comeback this year?
I only drink Gatorade in the summer, when this flavor is available, bit I haven’t seen it in probably 3 years now.

This is actually an impressive release. Hope something like it comes out for Notorious, which in my opinion is the only perfect Hitchcock film.

I think its actually a big no-no to be charging patients for work you are planning on publishing. If they brought in other people to the session, chances are good they were looking into getting a grant.
There is very little published work on meme creators, especially right wing meme creators. If I was a psych and a volunteer Nazi propagandist outed themselves to me, I would have a certain thought in the back of my head. That thought being, "I might have just struck gold.
