- Comment on Don't you all get tired of the constant negativity? 3 weeks ago:
Yes. This place is a dumpster fire. I actually started using Reddit again. I was super interested in moving from Reddit but the power mod issues combined with the extremist political folks here have absolutely scared away any average user.
That then creates a content problem. So now you just have bots posting news all day. And that news gets reposted to not only subs, but now subs within instances too, so you get 18 mentions of the save exact doomer news.

I feel like half this class went home saying, akchtually I would have gasped at you randomly breaking a non humanized pencil as well. And they are probably correct.

Do you play a lot of airsoft or paintball?

The millions of businesses that use M365 + Windows says otherwise. And yes, MS has plenty of customer data within the EU. There are additional restrictions on reporting and deletion, but the EU azure cloud has petabytes (at least) worth of data and it all complies with GDPR as well as public sector tenants in all regions.
- Comment on What are some eras of gaming that you've stopped feeling nostalgic for? 5 weeks ago:
I couldn’t care less for anything made before 2016. It’s all aged horribly. Every time I hear play shadow of the Colossus I vomit in my mouth. Ground breaking at the time, but an otherwise garbage game with okay story in a modern context.
And while not an era I’m going to stay on my soap box. Open world games without strong narrative and massive amounts of backtracking. Every open world game on the planet minus God of war(s), the first hzd (and this was pushing it), rdr2( pushing it), and cyberpunk has way to much shit spread out with little drive to finish narrative. You shouldn’t be backtracking into previous areas or sections in areas without some clever ass level design.

Local and optional.
- Comment on McDonald's is getting rid of self-serve drinks and some locations may charge for refills 5 weeks ago:
It’s gone up but the ranting that is over $20 is overblown. I can get 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels for 4.50. Or I got a triple quarter pounder meal and a happy meal for like $20.

If it were a tech company everyone would be screaming about them telling you what you should be eating.

It’s cheap, quick, and good for a burger delivered to your window.

Individual owners can mostly do what they want. Locations in poor communities have lots of challenges with homeless folks using the restaurant as home base.

- Comment on "Nuisance begging" and rough sleeping as soon to be illegal 1 month ago:
I know. There are issues with the police, so now we can’t have laws on the books either. Despite circumstances many homeless don’t take no for an answer and threaten people. There needs to be a law to detain those people. That’s regardless of the help they will or wont get or accept before or after.

Your entire description of what liberals dont do is nonsense. Lemmy is basically 80% cringe progressive memes that are mostly propaganda.
You agree with progressives so you don’t notice it as much.

PCMR was fleeced 20 years ago when they gave up disks to gaben. I save thousands a year renting and reselling my games. It’s beyond me how PCMR will rage about an account but to this day tolerate no discs.

No. They are being pendantic.
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 1 month ago:
Because I sat at a table for an hour with a work colleague lecturing me on veganism. I couldn’t care less if you don’t lecture me.
