- Comment on For those of you who enjoy open-world games, how big of a world is too big? 2 days ago:
What determines what "too big" is?
Ease of travel and speed of travel. Even a small map can feel cumbersome, repetitive, and boring. If the missions are designed poorly, and the game mechanics ignore an entertaining user experience, walking down the same hallway a thousand times can feel like a chore.
“Too big” is a relative feeling that involves many factors.

If a perishable product comes in an opaque plastic container, that’s a deliberate choice. Always be suspicious of it.

“Drive”? A trip like that is a quest.

A smaller pizza chain in the US. I’ve never tried their pizza.

With it's reckless disregard for traffic laws, property, and lives, I thought Autopilot was already in Mad Max mode 100% of the time.

- Comment on Why are some many people role playing as animals? 2 weeks ago:
I’m going to guess that it’s because most animals spend their days eating, sleeping, and fucking. Some of them don’t even “raise” their kids. They don’t have the same responsibilities that humans do. Animals are assumed to be innocent. It’s an idealized life.
- Comment on What a welcoming party 2 weeks ago:
OOP either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that labor can take hours, and is completely unpredictable. There’s also the issue of finding a delivery room with space to accommodate five observers, in addition to the other people who absolutely need to be there.
This isn’t necessarily a bad idea, but the practicalities are significant.

I haven’t noticed it lately, but I’ve experienced what you’re talking about. As far as I can tell, it ebbs and flows.

Even if you don’t know who Bari Weiss is, and couldn’t care less about CBS News, read this. It’s pretty damn funny.
- Comment on This is real 4 weeks ago:
It reads like an attempt at joviality that comes off as condescending. College students see this shit all the time.
I’m an old fart. I know better than to try to be hip. I’m not, and never have been. I get along just fine.

I have no advice, I’d just like to congratulate you on leaving a toxic work environment. A lot of people ask for coping advice that will help them tolerate their lousy job, when what they really need to do is get the hell out of there.

The meme kinda makes me laugh, but kinda doesn’t. Accountability is one thing, but we (American society) have seriously got to decide if/when punishing people for their personal beliefs is okay. Revenge only perpetuates itself.

Okay, thank you. I didn’t understand your use of the word “censorship”. That’s not common usage in American English, which is all I speak.
