Seems like this explain it pretty well, though Stremio has basically an app for every device, not only the firestick:

Just looked into it a bit more, turns out, they’re still working, but:
I’m not that knowledgeable on the whole topic but here’s how I understand what’s happened incase no one else responds
RD received a formal notice from the National Federation of Film Publishers (probably law suit) so RD has to comply and strengthen anti piracy measures.
That started with the deactivation of the API endpoint /instantavailability which is what 3rd party app add ons like torrentio and Fen Lite/Cocoscrapers used to scrape streamable cached links (I think)
The notice also included a blocking of torrents and purge of the cache of specific media, we don’t know the full extent of this yet but it seems many links are already being blocked
The reason torrentio is working with RD again is because the torrentio dev built a workaround so that it will still use RD to pull links we just aren’t able to see if they are cached or not, I do not know if this is a permanent fix but as far as I can tell, things will continually get worse for RD, not better.
If someone more knowledgeable wants to chime in and let me know if/where I’m wrong with any of this I’d appreciate it.

Some stores (where I live) have the scanner, some use an app to scan. Works the same but they don’t need to maintain the scanners with you using your phone.

Yes? Because every time we bring back a bag of bottles, we get about 10€. Would you rather throw out the 10€?
- Comment on Liquid Death Quietly Adds Stevia to Tea Drinks 4 days ago:
Where I live, every time you buy a plastic bottle, aluminum can or glass bottle, you pay extra 10 cents that you get back when you take them to the recycling (that every store is mandated to have, IIRC).

Also, I think that you shouldn’t put a price on your free time off work? You wouldn’t be working anyway, why put a price tag on it?

I’ve been using RD + Stremio for 2 years now, has worked great (except when RD shut down, then switched to Debrid-Link, which was as easy as RD).

Maybe try starting with weekends and times when it’s not critical to be up at a certain time?

I used to do this too but I realized that that I could sleep a couple of more minutes if I had only one alarm and just snoozed it whenever I wanted to sleep a bit longer.

About the Bixby button thing, I think that newer Samsungs are doing it better. They have the default power button hold action set to open Bixby, but it is reconfigurable in the settings to the normal power menu. Weird that it defaults to Bixby, but at least it won’t be a physically useless button once you unbind it.

Canada’s minister of energy and natural resources, Jonathan Wilkinson, has pushed back against U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s recent claim that America doesn’t need anything from its northern neighbour as “simply false.” Canada is prepared to take strong retaliatory measures if the U.S. imposes tariffs, including an export tax on Canadian energy or targeted levies on American goods.
