In the current system, which is rigged heavily in the favor of those with money, it is hard to end homelessness, not complicated.
The issues you mention that are connected to homelessness today; mental health and addiction, are complicated. But those people should not need to also be homeless while we try to solve them.

My school canceled every Master’s-level class section with less than 15 students
The corporate mindset leaking into every aspect of society 🤮 Like, where are you supposed to specialize beyond large classes if not at goddamn masters level in uni?! Insanity.

Wait, so the Japanese 7-11 (7 & i holdings, or whatever) is now the «real» 7-11? Man, I hope they bring their concept across to other countries! 7-11 in Japan is fucking great!

Using the price of the equipment as a reason was not a great decision 😅 Sure, the deprecation of your equipment is part of what the customers pay for, but any sane person would value their time much higher than that (unless the equipment is something ridiculous like an oil tanker).
And living with a photographer has taught me that it takes a lot of time! Just picking out which of the 800+ images from an event you want to show to the client for final choice is quite a job. And that’s before you even start to look at editing, which is always needed.
And then there is expertise. My SO knows what to do and how to do it because of her experience. You pay for that as well, and it should be worth quite a bit if you care about the quality of what you’re purchasing.

Came to say this! Drug addicts need help, not jail. Sure, if they commit a crime police should be involved, but it’s not going to cure their addiction!

I mean, the word «fetish» itself is named after feet, so they’re literally the OG.

I think in this one they might be forcing you to try to read it again (and again) in order to exemplify the quote, because they’re fourteen and this is deep?

Yeah… Japan might get you used to that kind of precision, but I can’t think of a European country with that punctual trains 😅

When I was a kid I deleted the

True. A decade or two earlier might have been different: All the historical examples in this thread had my mind locked in to the thirties, not the fifties!

Oh, it definitely seems like it is in need of repairs. But the article also says the contractor talked Trump out of a “Bahamas turquoise” color for the liner, so I feel like this is at least a little bit of both 😅

Is it Zima blue?
Jokes aside, this says so much about the way Trump sees the world. It’s a pool, so it must look like a swimming pool because that’s all he knows.

FYI, the Voyager app has a “hide all NSFW”-setting. Saves you from having to keep up with all the new content!

Looks like the developer doesn’t know about the
env(safe-area-inset-bottom)variable in CSS. Voyager is a web app, which is why it has this problem to start (I think), but that variable can be used as margin/padding to clear those buttons (and similar on other OS-es).
