It sucks. I love Mexican (texmex here mostly) food and almost all of it is shoved full of cilantro and then I’m just sad. Delicious food, ruined by soap.
- Comment on ‘Pokémon Go’ Maker Nears $3.5 Billion Deal to Sell Games Unit 1 day ago:
Can’t wait for the one free pokestop spin a day and one free Pokémon in a gym a day. Better hope multiple Pokémon don’t come home at once, you’ll be charged to let them come back and still won’t get any extra coins for it. Coins from gym are put into escrow until your watch ten ads.
- Comment on Basic courtesy 4 days ago:
Shouldn’t, but people absolutely do judge them! They also judge if they think you shouldn’t be in a handicap spot period. So many people get huffy when they see my (what appears to be) able body get out of the car then…oh shit, my visibly disabled husband!
- Comment on Basic courtesy 4 days ago:
My husband wouldn’t put the cart away.
But he has cerebral palsy which made walking back to the car without the cart for stability difficult when he was shopping alone. He actively liked if someone left a cart in the handicapped hatch mark area because then it would be close so he could grab that going into the store and be balanced against it.
He did know it wasn’t ideal though, and I’d take the carts back when I started shopping with him.

I love the Alot so so much. Just wanna hug most of them! You could say I love the Alot a lot!
- Comment on if you wear pantyhose, doesn't it hurt your belly? where do I buy low rise pantyhose? 1 week ago:
It’s why I don’t wear panty hose. They absolutely are restricting and uncomfortable around my stomach, but importantly 1. I’m fat and 2. It’s the major way my autism manifests, my brain fucking screeeaaaams about restrictive clothing in any form.
- Comment on Just. Fuck. OFF. 2 weeks ago:
Even the people working there hate it, because the customers yell at them and it sure wasn’t their choice to hear customers ranting about aisles.
- Comment on Darkest Dungeon 2: kingdoms thoughts? 2 weeks ago:
I haven’t played it much but I liked what I did play. I mostly have been about playing the abomination a lot.
- Comment on USA Question | How much is a dozen large eggs near you? 3 weeks ago:
5 ish dollars for a dozen. I’m not sure exactly, a family member has employee discount.

I am redownloading it! After having to reset a password. Again. Man I suck at remembering these things.
- Comment on Guild Wars 2 in 2025 is a MASTERPIECE 4 weeks ago:
Oooh, I should redownload and get back into it again

I loved what Spore was, and I’m still sad and what it could have been. What we saw at the various shows.

I’m so lucky the nice sandwich shop is both nearby and almost always open and even delivers.
They’ve stopped delivering now though, it’s too late. Damnit! This meme cursed me.
- Comment on I walked all over the damn store looking for butter 1 month ago:
Canning pectin is with the canning jars!
Now, where those are is extremely confusing. Currently I think it’s near the sugars.

I love all cats, and they are free to walk inside anytime they want. Just no fighting in the house.
- Comment on Valve is fixin' to start some arguments over the holidays because 'All adult members in a Steam Family' can see your Steam Replay page 2 months ago:
Ohno, my twin will see what games I play. Although they already get the friends popup saying what I’m playing when I start playing it.
They also wander into the computer room frequently to ramble at me so see what I’m playing them.
In short, we all play Dwarf Fortress and it’s not a secret.

I am biased being from NJ, but these pizzas vindicate me!
- Comment on feral naming 2 months ago:
I was taught they were called pill bugs. Although I knew them as also roly polys. My mother called them pill bugs, the other kids called them roly polys.
She told me it was an east coast versus west coast name and clearly is more “every group of people had decided they wanted to name this thing themselves” XD
- Comment on What are some great games that require you to bust out a notebook and pen? 2 months ago:
I usually wrote a lot of scribbles for Stardew Valley, at least when trying to go for perfection.
Heaven’s Vault feels like it should have its own journal, but it really didn’t.
Sid Meier’s Pirates! could use a notebook at points or at least scrap paper.

I saw two packages of frozen food in the toiletry aisle when shopping with my sibling who works there and they just sighed and said it’s not the worst they’ve seen.

I think about what I want to eat for my next meal as I’m preparing my current meal.
Having weed just means I’m more likely to drink liquid as I don’t have to prepare those. Generally.
- Comment on KFC drops pledge to stop using ‘Frankenchickens’ in the UK 2 months ago:
I haven’t had any kfc recently, because the last time I did it just sat in my stomach so terribly. I remember it being okay in the 00s, so I was surprised it felt so bad. Other chicken places didn’t do this so eurgh.
- Comment on Black owner here.... without context that sounds really bad 3 months ago:
All cats I’ve owned were “oh! A cat!” Style cat. My grandmother had a Russian blue and a Scottish fold, although she lost the Scottish fold to my mother when she moved in with us. That cat loved my mother. I loved the Russian blue. He was an idiot.

- Comment on [Même] Which movie was this for you? 3 months ago:
It has a soft spot in my heart because it was the movie me and husband went on our first date to.
It was enjoyable to yell at the screen with only one other person in the theater.
We had both read the original Beowulf. Although not in the original writing, but I have heard the entire thing read in the original, it was at an entire thing/concert/performance thing for it.
The very obvious 3D things were the best to make fun of.
- Comment on I bought a freeze dryer so you don't have to [1:00:14] 3 months ago:
I could see maybe renting one as part of renting a professional kitchen setup where some of the prep is easier and they should have large freezers to make that part take less time. But owning one? No, absolutely not.
