- Comment on What do you call your mom (Or moms what do your kids call you) 1 week ago:
Mom or more often her name? A diminutive of her name. I like her name. I do not think she does.
- Comment on No criminal charges over British woman shot in US 1 week ago:
All I know about grand jury was my sibling was on it, a cop tried to convince them that having a machete in the car should be an extra crime (carrying a weapon, maybe) and they were all like “no bro you absolutely need a machete here occasionally, some of us garden and stuff” and the cop seemed shocked they didn’t just nod along and do what he said.
- Comment on Dune Awakening worms its way past one million sales, Funcom's best performing game to date 2 weeks ago:
I like the setting but I just don’t want more Conan exiles game play. I hope it does super though!
- Comment on What are ways to independently make a few bucks on the side? 2 weeks ago:
Do you live in a place where cottage laws are a thing? You could bake or can and sell them, if you have good cottage laws. Depending on where, might need various certs before doing it though.
- Comment on I'm not okay. 2 weeks ago:
I had wondered why we always seemed to have some fireflies here and it turned out my hatred of raking and leaving the leaves under the bushes helped a lot!
- Comment on Nier creator Yoko Taro reveals the sad reality of modern AAA game development, “there’s less weird people making games” 2 weeks ago:
I have. Watched two beings play it. I sincerely hope the person(s) who made that game make more games.
- Comment on Dear Kevin 2 weeks ago:
Well I still remember Roy G. Biv and Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally so maybe?
- Comment on Why do some people hate drinking water? 3 weeks ago:
My husband hates drinking water because his parents only gave him water to drink when he was sick. Otherwise it was all juice and milk.
- Comment on Haunted Chocolatier will have a larger world than Stardew Valley, creator confirms 3 weeks ago:
This is by far my most wanted game. I love cooking so much. I love desserts. I love Stardew Valley entirely.
Gimme

- Comment on Steam Next Fest has started once again. What good demos have you found? 4 weeks ago:
I tried it out and man I hate getting motion sickness from games. Got the ship ready to go and launched and instant hurgh stomach. Unfortunate, as it looks real cool!
- Comment on "Can i ask you for a favor?" Is it rude to say no? 4 weeks ago:
I was taught to say “Depends on the favor” but was also told that’s rude…but by someone who wanted a favor so maybe we can discount that opinion.

I think the problem is Henry Cavill might want to go into everything!

There’s just so much to cover! Not just fifty billion factions, but why this kitchen sink grim dark setting came to be!
I live me my orks. Love a good waaaaaggghhhh
- Comment on where are worker rights parades? why are we focusing on very limited issues? 4 weeks ago:
It’s such a haunting poem. It is engraved into a monument in my childhood hometown.
- Comment on Dune: Awakening — Official Launch Trailer 4 weeks ago:
The more I see it, the less I want it. It’s unfortunate, love the setting but Conan exiles gameplay seems so tedious overall.
- Comment on The first weekly What Are You Playing? thread! 4 weeks ago:
It certainly looks like it would fill the Skyrim void my brain sometimes has! But also new story that I might finish because I hated skyrims one mostly.
- Comment on this is why nothing feels right 4 weeks ago:
Not generally! Probably. I don’t think I’m the evil twin today.

- Comment on Inspired by a friends current vacation 1 month ago:
It was lots of tents and pain until my mother said absolutely not and then it was a lot of KOA sites. That was fine! I wouldn’t mind like…being in a remote cabin.
I want indoor plumbing. We worked hard to invent that as humans, I respect it.
- Comment on Inspired by a friends current vacation 1 month ago:
I hated camping as a child because I had no say in where, when, or for how long. As an adult I’m not camping alone as a woman. My husband would just die in the wilderness, it’s not kind to a guy with cerebral palsy.
- Comment on Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy - Announcement Trailer 1 month ago:
Hmm interesting! This was the setting I’ve played the most in the tabletop game. Fun times.
- Comment on George R. R. Martin's New Announcement Has Finally Made Me Accept He's Never Finishing The Winds Of Winter 1 month ago:
I remember working at borders like a decade ago or more, and when I first got there husband realized, “oh! The publisher has a system you can check to see when they plan on releasing a book, yeah? See when a dance with dragons is coming out!!!” So I did
We watched that date move over the course of a year. Then just disappear from the system. It was like two more years after that before it came out or more (time is my enemy)
It’s never ending.
- Comment on Wait, that game is still playable online? 1 month ago:
There’s a number of mud games still around in their text glory. Love me a text mmo. Well most aren’t massive. None are massive. Hence mud, multi user dungeon. But not massively multi user.
I currently play Starmourn which is very new by mud standards.
- Comment on What are some examples of some of the most well-known and watched TV series at the time that been forgotten culturally? 1 month ago:
God Lost was inescapable and then suddenly it was fucking goooone. I never watched it but it was fascinating to see just how poof gone it was.
- Comment on I'm down with this 1 month ago:
Man, I use to read so many murder mysteries as a kid. I haven’t in ages. I should do that again? Since I’ve taken up gardening, maybe some murder mysteries that involve that. Give I read one’s that involved, uh…cats, dogs, bakeries, diners, old ladies in villages, different cats, and probably more, there has to be a series of gardening murder mysteries.
- Comment on New Poster For 28 Years Later 1 month ago:
I see 27… the second one in the series. Without having seen the first. So I was mildly confused.
But so I can’t watch this, I must wait for the next one, so I’ve missed stuff so and I’m confused again!
