The archeology book Im talking about was mentioning they were on a time limit because the farmer who owned the land wanted to tear down the over a thousand year old ruin (maybe even over two thousand) because he wanted the land’s use as farmland. They weren’t able to finish their study of the ruins and its artifacts despite working overtime because they hit their time limit and the farmer had the ancient ruins demolished. That’s just depressing.

Irish archeologists walking through the countryside with nothing to talk about because farmers keep tearing down their own country’s historical sites (reading Irish archeology books is depressing)

I thought black holes aren’t actually holes at all, they’re literally gigantic physical objects because they’re dead suns with shockingly high gravity that prevents light from escaping; how could our universe be inside something like that?

That’s clearly not a crane; more like a tractor really

What do you mean? We’re watching it happen in real time right now with people; vtubers learned to put on costumes of animals, insects or even mythical creatures to get weird internet losers to give them money to feed themselves.
You also have that giant cockroach that learned to put on a human skin called asmongold to get people to subscribe to its twitch channel.

Honestly I think I only liked sunny until…season 12…? And even then it was getting noticeably less funny after season 7 or 8. They’re also making a lot of reactionary jokes in the latest seasons.

Definitely this; just how many new stories could they tell with Bart and Lisa in high school, or university even.
Spiderman apparently had him age over the course of the original run, and that was awesome. New stories you couldn’t have told otherwise.

Forget colder, I kind of feel like we’re missing out on not hearing the sun thanks to space

False; no sun = no morning!

Finally; now when a Jedee (the correct pronunciation really) is like “you can’t even imagine all this force power” the heroes can karate chop the force away cause frankly the existing lore is kinda weaksauce.

The full bill for Vietnam started coming 20 years after the fact as all those veterans got older and started heavily using the benefits they were promised. From the start of the War on Terror, we’re about at that same point right now. So unless the plan is to rug pull those benefits from people who really need them, then there’s going to be a huge bill coming that no amount of efficiency trimming can ignore.
Pulling the rug out from under exactly when they need it most is almost the most based of praxis; the government giving them the wall is 100% based praxis.

I’m confused; is the joke here that if America gets submerged that we’d just simply colonize the rest of the world?

When it’s not a marketing team bumbling things up, you instead surrender the creativity to someone’s fickle whims.
I’m sure this is going to go about as well as the star citizen’s devs (or owner) choosing to go with the crysis engine for their massive game on a whim.

And for the bio/kin/nursing/premed students: how much would need to be amputated?
Hi there! I’m a certified surgeon in my DnD roleplay and I can safely say you’ve just amputated your own arm at that speed at just below the shoulder!

If you could cook a chicken that fast with one slap, wouldn’t it be disintegrated from the force of the blow?

I guess the sun being loud shouldn’t really be all that strange; if I recall correctly the sun has explosions happening on it everywhere all the time, the strange part though is the whole sound lasting for thirteen years part.

When people are using mental interface devices to gravitate to their Mars colony it’ll be such a mindbender to realize ye olde memes were being made at the same time all those mammalian fossils from extinct species like elephants and rhinos were carbon dated to!
