- Comment on Alec Baldwin's Rust Case Is Over, Prosecutor Drops Manslaughter Appeal 4 weeks ago:
I think that argument gets made by people who don’t really know what producers do. It could be anything from managing the people on set to putting their name on it for cred. I’m this car, Baldwin was partially responsible for the story.
- Comment on Alec Baldwin's Rust Case Is Over, Prosecutor Drops Manslaughter Appeal 4 weeks ago:
I think a lot of the confusion is that they were between takes.
He was drawing the weapon and rehearsing what he was going to do as they were discussing the next take and she was watching him through the camera. But the shot they were going for was most definitely him pointing the gun at the camera. The AD, I believe, was the one that handed him the gun without verifying it was cleared.
Baldwin is guilty of putting trust in the people around him doing their jobs correctly.
- Comment on Alec Baldwin's Rust Case Is Over, Prosecutor Drops Manslaughter Appeal 4 weeks ago:
He was following the directions of the director and everybody involved, including the woman who died, agreed to do the scene. She wasn’t just some random person on set, she was behind the camera because she was the director of photography.
If she didn’t feel the scene was safe to film, she had the right to say no to using a realistic prop. This is an obviously sad incident. But Manny people were found or pleaded guilty to the events. Baldwin just isn’t I’ve of them. Actors can’t be expected to be experts and have to defer to experts on set all the time.
- Comment on Luigi Mangione pleads not guilty to murdering health insurance CEO 4 weeks ago:
Plus, I think many people agree that the charges the prosecution brought are not charges he is guilty of. They pushed for terrorism so they could get first degree murder charges instead of a lesser charge.
He may have plead guilty if they had brought more appropriate charges.
- Comment on Alec Baldwin's Rust Case Is Over, Prosecutor Drops Manslaughter Appeal 4 weeks ago:
Personally, I just don’t think Baldwin is the one who deserves the charge. There were people on set responsible for ensuring his gun wasn’t loaded. Those people failed in their job.
- Comment on Alec Baldwin's Rust Case Is Over, Prosecutor Drops Manslaughter Appeal 4 weeks ago:
Ah. Ok. I mean, I’m of the opinion that he has every reason to believe he wasn’t going to shoot her when he pulled the trigger.
But I just wasn’t sure if you were misunderstanding the headline or if you were in the camp of punish everybody all the time.

I love this game. It’s my current Steam Deck title I’m working through on trips. Absolutely gorgeous!
- Comment on Discussion - what is the last movie you couldn't finish? 1 month ago:
Sure. But that’s enough.
Demanding more than that isn’t conducive to anytime but trying to make people feel inadequate for wanting to enjoy their time.
It’s completely fine if you feel like you need to see the end of a story to determine if it was good, but not everybody is like that.
- Comment on Discussion - what is the last movie you couldn't finish? 1 month ago:
Incomplete doesn’t mean invalid, though. I can say I didn’t enjoy the first half so much that I didn’t give the second half a chance. I will have enough information to explain why I didn’t enjoy the first half and my opinion of the movie is completely valid.
I don’t have to continue to subject myself to something I don’t enjoy. I can explain what I don’t enjoy. People don’t need more than that to have a valid opinion of something. The only people I’d expect to have done more is somebody professionally critiquing movies.
- Comment on Discussion - what is the last movie you couldn't finish? 1 month ago:
Besides, if you haven’t finished a movie, you can’t claim to have a valid opinion of it.
I’m sure you didn’t mean it to sound this way, but this kind of gate keeping sounds very elitist. I can have a valid opinion of a movie I didn’t finish.
Usually, me not finishing it means that through the portion I watched I was disliking it so much I decided finishing it was a waste of my time. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. I don’t need to see the ending to know i didn’t enjoy the journey. The onus is on the creators of the movie to ensure I enjoy or am at least engaged throughout and I don’t, not does anybody else, owe it to them to see though the time I’ve set aside to watch it. Especially if they could be bothered to hold up their side of the bargain.

This is the last one for me as well. Though, my partner and I didn’t even finish the first episode of Dune: Prophecy if you want to count that.
Dakota Johnson isn’t what ruined Madame Web for me, though. The writing was truly awful from the plot to the dialogue. The costumes were really bad as well and the action was just terrible. It looked like poorly done wire tricks on CGI.

As much as I would love for Robin Williams to be back and brightening the world again it would be incredibly selfish of us to forget that he was incredibly unhappy in life and killed himself in a very unpleasant way because of it.
So definitely the centipede.

You are all mad! The sun is definitely getting oxygen! The giant space bellows hide just out of sight on the precisely opposite side of the sun from earth, so we’ve never been able to observe them.
Gringolth the oxidation wizard had been pumping them for millions of years. The biggest risk is that he dies before being replaced by an offspring!

Postal might be the only one he did well. But I think by the point he made that one he had learned something about his own abilities and even ripped himself a new one in one scene of the movie.

IMHO, the list in the OP are actually fairly decent, with the exception of Warcraft, Need for Speed and Assassin’s Creed. (Not because they are bad but because I never saw them.

Eh. Say what you will about Valve, but The Verge knew the risks of publishing. Even if technical issues allowed for legal loopholes, intentionally ignoring the spirit of the agreement is valid grounds for bans.
- Comment on Let's discuss: Super Mario 6 months ago:
Long time fans of the 2d games really enjoy Wonder as the movement mechanics moved back to a faster feel from pre-New Super Mario Bros. My favorite will probably always be Super Mario World because the movement is the most responsive in that game and I also like to play ROM hacks for it and that community is wild.
New Super Mario Bros ended up with a sluggish movement by comparison and dominated 2d Mario for decades.
The big draw for many people in Mario is movement mechanics and that’s why Odyssey is so popular as well. The 3d platforming with Cappy just feels right. Like a missing extension that we never new we didn’t have.

as long as you’re not fighting against observations and evidence without additional observations and evidence.
Observations and evidence could be non-maliciously incorrect. New observations could be made that invalidate the old after another change in our perception occurs.
Observations and evidence just show to the best of our abilities at the moment.
