After reading more about the causes of Polio - heavy metal induced damage in the guts, leading to opportunistic infections near the spine - I was already skeptical about older vaccines.

I saw this graph. I will have to dig more into the data, specifically when modern plumbing was introduced in the areas where this data is from.....

...but this has just turned me off completely from vaccines.

The only vaccines that are still on my good list: Rabies, Tetanus, Malaria, Hepatitis

I will have to take a look at each of them in detail.

I'm in a group at work of people who got a religious accommodation. Contractor mandate. Some of them have done presentations about this stuff. I've heard similar claims. Seems like everyone who spends Years digging into the actual data become total anti vaxers.

I don't even care I just want choice and my choice is to live as close to nature as possible. No medicine

    Yeah its probably environmental contaminants. Maybe some social contagions. All that plastic and chemicals is making dudes want to chop their dicks off. Probably autism too. I've heard some people link that weed killer round up to autism. Like they said it goes into the plant proteins. The crop yeild is so much higher I don't think it will matter. People will look the other way. I don't eat corn, wheat , or soy for the most part. Sometimes a little soy sauce but I imagine all the agro chemicals are gone at that point.

Interestingly, the first anti-vaxxers weren't right wing. It had nothing to do with covid because covid hadn't existed yet. It was a bunch of woo woo Crystal ladies in California and New York. You can see this in the data because measles has been wiped out for the most part pretty much everywhere, except for massive outbreaks in the sort of areas that woo woo Crystal ladies live.

I understand where you're coming from, because they lied so much it looks like all they do is lie and it makes everything they remotely suggest suspect, but we gotta be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Vaccines do work, assuming they're properly run through the testing regime to prove effectiveness and safety, which these ones specifically have not.

  When ever anyone looks at these sort of claims with any scrutiny they usually end up over blown or just plain wrong. You don't see the Amish over run with measles.
  
  The fact that I had chicken pox around 93 (and remember it) and kids at the same age around 2001 did not seems to be some proof those type of vaccines work. At-least in my mind. but I seriously question any source that told you Crystal ladies in California were getting measles outbreaks.
  
  These sort of data points are really hard to interpret. For example, you might say that wealthy women have a much higher mental illness rate but that might be because they have a much higher chance of getting a diagnosis because they actually see doctors.

  That's the problem. We always assumed that without digging into it. Scientific methods & Statistical analysis from early 1900s were not good at all compared to today. Even studies from 70s upto 90s are highly suspect.
  
  Good example is "Masks work against viruses". Its not just the US that believes it now. Asians have been following this mantra for decades.
  
  As part of my Materials Science degree, I had to visit manufacturers of Clean Room tech, and they showed us how particulates simply cannot be eliminated, even by wearing headgear, gloves, shoes and the plastic overalls. Their measurements showed they still squeeze out of every small opening.
  
  If you see the pictures of virologists working at WIV (Wuhan Inst. Virology), they wear pseudo spacesuits. That's what it takes to contain particulates. Unless you go that far you cannot reduce particulates in any meaningful way. Mask do not reduce particulates AT ALL. There are measurement methodologies for this, and there is no significant proof from before 2019 to back it up. After 2019, I do not trust the bias of the "scientists" who collaborated to kick Trump out by self censorship.
  
  We need to not take things for granted, and assume govt paid scientists did their job properly.

    I can't say I disagree with any of that, particularly the disgusting politicization of science. I work in a field where I need to make hypotheses, and they need to be basically right, and if they aren't right then I'm going to waste a bunch of money and time doing something useless, but if I am right then things are going to get better really fast.
    
    I can't argue my way out of being wrong. At the end of the day the real world decides the facts, and I can either accept it or pretend that it's not true, but if you get hit by a bus all the pleasant thoughts in the world aren't going to stop it.

    well the official data admits that flu vaccines have been the least effective in recent years, that plus covid "vaccines" being ineffective and things like sanitation being argued to play a strong role have made vaccines look less effective in general to me
    
    plus they often de-emphasize other heslthy things you can do to boost immune system (sun, diet, exercise, etc.)
    
    plus there was that hpv vaccine scandal where instead of just promoting abstinence they were trying to vaccinate kids against an STD
    
    plus we've heard "if we do a good job with vaccines, we can lower the population numbers" ... umm what?~~___~~

  Covid19 is a family of virus known as Coronavirus. We have had Coronaviruses forever. Its called the common cold. Common cold is a mixture of hundreds of viruses: Corona, Rhino, Influenza
  
  Covid will end up in space and on Mars too. I guarantee it.
  
  Social distancing and quarantine cannot stop the Flu. They cannot stop Covid either.

    quarantine is standard medical practice I believe, that is sound scientifically as far as I know - keeping sick people with contagious disease away from others who can get it, is all I mean
    
    I thought some have argued things like this were more effective than vaccines at eradicating disease in the past
    
    some of the forced and sloppy "quarantine" measures around covid I dont think to be the same thing
    
    dunno about antartica but they probably werent socially distanced. also contact just happens so not sure if it is possible to distance all that muc
    
    picked up a book called outbreak and they made a movie on it, from the 90s I think, they were quarantining the diseased in it I think

I used to laugh at actual antivaxers but now I have been redpilled and I question all of it. I think they were right.

Yeah, tetanus vaccines are good in my opinion. Having stepped on a rusty nail and showing symptoms in around a week or so, I was glad to have had an outdated booster in my system. I should have gotten another jab right then, but I still had partial immunity from earlier jabs. I remember my legs jerking on their own for a couple of weeks, a time or two about hard enough to pull something ("charlie horse?"), but I used supplements (magnesium and potassium) to manage the symptoms. Then it went away and then came back shortly, then cleared for good. Having a resurgence is typical with tetanus.

I am just glad that I had a mild manifestation of the illness. In worse cases, you spend weeks in ICU, often given a paralytic and put on a ventilator, and given high-calorie IV feedings (to make up for the calories spent from all the jerking and providing for tissue repair).

On hepatitis, I didn't know there was a vaccine for that, but thank goodness. That is a hard one to get rid of, if ever. However, at least there are new medications for Hep C that can bring a cure. Sadly, not everyone can use those. If you have inactive Hep B in your system, a Hep C treatment can reactivate that. Hepatitis is weird. The first 3 tend to have different causes. You get one from bad food, one from drug use, one from screwing. Then the other forms of hepatitis require that you have some from among the first 3 types to get those. So if you have hepatitis D-H or whatever, then you would also have B or C.

The ones you are still okay with tend to be for really bad illnesses.

  Thanks for sharing. These are similar to my fears. Tetanus related gangrene and amputations was a big fear for me as a child.
  
  I really have to look deep into the history, conditions and actions of these vaccines than rely on assumptions that they are safe and "just work"
