Damn! Imagine eating a California King-size bed.
I know who'd be willing to join in.
That sounds like mental illness.
I know of a few such stories. I like the one where a 1200-pound woman was accused of homicide in the death of her niece. So the county had to remodel her house to get her out. Then they realize she wasn't fit to be put in jail, so they decide to take her to the hospital. The only thing was that she wouldn't fit in an ambulance, so they had to rent a moving van (eg., Uhaul truck). Meanwhile, they remodeled the courthouse for larger defendants to get in.
She had like 20 life-threatening conditions. Then the ME finished their autopsy and released the report. That actually proved she didn't do it. The cause listed was Shaken Baby Syndrome, not crushing or suffocation as one might assume. That would be a bit difficult for her to do when she couldn't even lift her arms. And SBS is a rather intimate cause of death, meaning that a family member or sitter would usually be responsible. So if not the aunt, then I'd look closer.
Something suspicious was that her sister and BIL disappeared when the cause of death was determined. They fled to Mexico. So I'd say one of them was guilty. Mexico honored the extradition and sent them back.
So the wrong woman was initially charged, and that turned out to be a blessing in disguise since it kept her alive and got long-standing medical issues fixed. I can't help to think she was an accessory after the fact. Like maybe being asked to take one for the team or told, "What can they do to you? They'd have to come to get you, and I don't think they could put you in jail."
Just gag the Surgeon Genital.
That is like the woman who got stuck to a toilet for 2-3 years. I guess their skin grew around the seat. But, in such a case, you must ask yourself who enabled that. Someone had to be keeping her alive, feeding her, grooming her, etc. And if they could do that, they could have gotten her off or gotten her help earlier.
If I were in that situation, I'd hope I have the 2 things associated with guys and not apologize, but hold my ground.
Someone should sue N-word Broadcasting Corporation.
Speaking of yeast, if you can't find that, you can use clostridium. I am not saying I'd actually use such a deadly bacteria, but people have over the years. And of course, make sure you bake the hell out of whatever.
Something that can be used for a lot of things is aluminum cans. Besides the obvious of using them to drink out of and store things in, there are many other ways to use them. You can build small stoves out of them, make a solar heater out of them, use them to make simple weapons, rig them as a makeshift alarm, or use them for fishing tackle.
I can see the practical value in this. If we get into a post-apocalyptic situation or like the frontiersman again, there might not be enough things like this for everyone to have. So having replicas, even if temporary ones, helps.
That reminds me of the issue of yeast. If a newcomer came into a wagon camp, they might not have yeast. So someone might give them a small amount and they may take a potato or some sugar and grow the yeast on it. Then they won't need to borrow more and they can "pay it forward" too.
Something I did one time was to use a cup of water in place of a postage scale. I didn't know if I overstuffed the envelope or not. I asked my neighbors if they had a small scale to use, and they said no. I thought that was odd because I knew a couple of folks were moving "product" out of there. Maybe they thought I was a fed or something. Anyway, I filled a cup half-full of water and similarly stuffed other envelopes until I had the number of ounces within comparison range. And both the styrofoam cup and the papers/mail felt about the same. Crude, but worked.
Except in this case, I don't see why anything needs to be done in terms of vaccines. Just let the virus play out, let folks fend for themselves, and keep the government mostly out of it. The companies could offer the bad vaccines, and maybe the only role of the government could be in this is to protect our liberties and First Amendment rights. So promote vaccines or bash them all you want, with the government acting as moderators in a sense to make sure all voices are welcome, and just letting things play themselves out.
One of the biggest world problems is trying to fix everything and interfering with nature. I am not particularly into "Gaia Theory," but I am more into "Darwinism" as a philosophy (even if it's not a scientific truth). I mean this more as "the law of the jungle."
If you cut a newly emerging butterfly out of its cocoon, it will never fly. It needs the fight and struggle of getting out to build the circulation and muscles in its wings.
In that case, the engineered virus was a reaction to their newfound peace. Since they were killing less of each other in unprecedented numbers, they didn't want them to be overpopulated that the Krogan wars started all over again, maybe worse than before. The virus was given to them for that purpose before the wars, but it was updated to allow even fewer births after that. And the virus caused them all to change their culture. They separated the males and females (and young) into different camps, and had initiation rites for the males to try to choose for what they felt were the best traits.
And Asari tended to be the opposite. They were amongst the most intelligent aliens in the game, and when they went bad, they really went bad. They didn't need partners to reproduce, but they could do sort of a "mine meld" sort of thing and create equivalent DNA of their partners. That created a class divide as there were 2 types of Asari, purebloods and the others, and some of the purebloods were evil. So while I don't know what they'd see in Krogans, there were Krogan/Asari mixed marriages, and it was ideal for the Krogans since they'd be guaranteed offspring that might have a few of their minor features.
And yeah, a lot of this information comes from the backstory and fan lore, and not just playing it.
I only brought this up because it seems so much like what is happening here. Humans are being given the "genophage" to reduce their populations.
Ah, the "genophage" given to Krogans in Mass Effect.
Yeah, if 1/8 million can live to 124...
I see nothing wrong with your salad.
The only thing I'd have to regret would be if after I had the coronary, some Democrat starts voting as me.
Dems must have really good healthcare for all.
Makes warped sense. If someone can be XX and call themselves a man, then call it paternity for them.
I could see it if we apply things to other areas like in this article.
"I'd like to report a fire."
"It is a crime to call it a fire because people have been harmed by others yelling fire."
"Can I call it a conflagration?"
"No, that sounds violent."
"What about a blaze?"
"That's a word that marijuana enjoyers use and may cause confusion. You don't want to waste our time calling us to put out a lit joint."
"Fine, I'd like to report a rape then."
"Do you suspect any non-whites to have done this? We can't send any officers out if that's the case."
On the word minority being problematic, I think many would agree for different reasons. I think some bigots would say it is another word for "trash." They'd rather use a different word, but if "minority" is all they can say...
I remember the uproar over the word "gay" in the past, when folks used it as an insult. Eg., "That movie's gay!" So if gay in that use meant stupid, then you are also calling gay people stupid. It is like so many on the Left can't separate out the different contexts of word meanings.
As a side joke: A man in court in the UK for insulting a duchess. The judge said, "You can't go around calling duchesses pigs, so I'm fining you."
"But can I call a pig a duchess?"
"I don't see why not."
I used to think that was a computer abbreviation. Like cathode ray tube or C-Runtime Library.
We don't need Critical Race Theory.
This makes me mad, and there is no solution to this that I'm willing to share here. I don't want another vacation from this site.
If one prays imprecatory prayers, this might be an instance for that, though remember that if you believe in that sort of thing, you have to be willing to accept the spiritual consequences, perhaps less favor or protection in this life, or karmic debt in the next, or whatever.
Yeah, if they could make Bombay compatible 5-star negative marrow in a lab, that would be nice. There would be next to no need to type and crossmatch then.
This study wasn't perfect, but it is a step forward. I mean, they didn't filter creatinine out of the patient's body, and it is possible that transplanting them damaged them due to blood pressure differences between hogs and humans. But at least there were no signs of rejection. I have a feeling they'd need to change a few more genes to make the xeno-kidneys better able to withstand human blood pressures.
I have due to urgency.
I hated the one time I was riding my bike home and had to go at once, and no places were available to do it. So I found a bush in front of a doctor's office and did it there. What I hated the most was that my aim was bad and I did what I tried to avoid. Yes, all over myself.
Yeah, an amulet to the COVID gods.
Yeah, a "health director" without mental health.
Let's Go, Brandon!
True, but I'd be more concerned about quality than quantity. To me, having millions of users to have a large segment of them wanting to take the country or the site down the crapper is not the way to go.
I was meaning background checks more in terms of specific types of comments/posts. There are decent Patriots out there who are not interested in violence. If you don't have a way to cull out disruptors, agitators, and plants, then you can't have a place for the Patriots since the outsiders would infiltrate and try to frame all Patriots as bad. So if one wanted even a pro-white (not white supremacist, Nazi, white nationalist, or white separatism) space, opponents will try to find a way to bring it down. So if you have a place for even healthy "white pride," it might be wise to find a way to vet them. So if anyone has weapons charges, aggravated assault charges, discon charges without a good explanation, etc., they probably should not be allowed into such a space. And even the other details about crimes would be helpful. If they were charged with disorderly conduct and were a part of some known radical group while charged, I wouldn't want them on my site, and particularly not in places that go against their ideology. And some states have felony disorderly conduct laws that include disrupting burial services, religious services or interfering with reproductive health services, etc. So don't want folks who start anti-gay or race riots at funerals.
I'm still mostly spitballing and thinking.
I said pro-white, not WN or Nazism, but I gave that more as an example and was thinking more generally.
As for Antifa, I'd say they are a terrorist group, so I see no violation of free speech if you disallow groups that have inherently violent ideologies. Just talking about making America great is not in itself terrorism or violence. But hosting a group that sprays bleach or acid at the cops and teaches how to use lasers to permanently blind the opposition should be a no-no anywhere.
Yeah, I'm just spit-balling.
Yeah, why should I get a shot in the arm for something that's all in my head?
