NyQuil contains acetaminophen, which if taken in excess, will cause permenant liver damage and will kill you. Do NOT take NyQuil in any kind of excess quantity greater than recommended on the packaging.
Not sure where you got the idea to use NyQuil to quit nicotine, but I can give you a regimen that worked for me to quit vaping nicotine.
What worked for me is since I was vaping, I was able to reduce the concentration of the e-juice I was consuming. If you’re smoking cigarettes, you can probably skip this step.
Next, I bought some nicotine gum and threw away all of my vapes. The key here is having the only access to nicotine being a quitting aid and having no other access available to you. The gum also helped me with replacing the hand to mouth addiction.
After about a month, I switched to the lower concentration of nicotine gum available.
After about another month, I started to suppliment the nicotine gum with regular, nicotine-free gum, at about a half-half ratio. My brain at this point adjusted to receiving nicotine from gum instead of vaping.
After about another month, I switched entirely to regular gum and stopped buying nicotine gum.
After about another month, I kind of got bored of chewing gum, so I stopped that too, but that step is optional.

Did you ask AI about this? Because it sounds like you asked AI about this.
This is not a thing. There’s no connection. Don’t bother.

Quitting cold turkey is tough. What worked for me was switching to a vape and gradually reducing the nicotine level. Getting a quality vape that you can refill and replace the coils will probably be more effective than the cheap disposable ones. I found it fun to try different tips, rebuilding them, and making my own coils. I probably only had a single bottle of 0 nicotine when it was clear that I was just wasting money. I don’t think I’ve had a cigarette since, but I do have an occasional social cigar.
My brother quit over a year ago and he uses nicotine pouches, like Zyn, but there are lots of different brands and flavours. Those also have varying levels of nicotine if you are looking to fully ween yourself off. A bonus of the pouches is that they are inconspicuous, don’t stink, and unlike tobacco, it’s only nicotine, which isn’t particularly good for you, but it’s not carcinogenic like chewing tobacco or inhaling anything. They’re still relatively new, so there aren’t long term studies, but it’s certainly less bad than tobacco.
