Does the make a wish foundation really grant every wish? Or at least try to? Like if a 10 year old wanted to see Taylor Swift naked in person would they at least contact Swift or her Reps to do it?

The make a wish foundation reaches out to others to try to fulfill the wish as long as it is legal and approved by the parents. When it can’t be fulfilled fully, they try to honor the spirit of the wish (for instance, if you want to go to space, they will probably end up helping you meet an astronaut and try a simulator with them or something).

Bringing your example down to reality, let’s say a 10 year old wants to go on a date with Taylor Swift. They would contact her team and explain that the 10 year old wants to meet her, has a crush, and asked for a date. If she’s comfortable with it, they might stage a cute interaction where she has a meal at the hospital bed with a candle and a flower, or maybe a scenario where the kid gives her a valentines card. Photo op, big hug, the wish is now over.

I want to be abundantly clear that there is no circumstance in any timeline where a 10 year old is clapping those cheeks at the end of their terminal disease wish.

While a reasonable person hears and understands you, these same reasonable people said Trump was just a joke back in 2015.

I don’t dispute your reasoning in any reap way, but let’s also not forget which timeline we actually currently occupy…

I have no data to support this whatsoever, but my gut tells me that the employees of the Make A Wish Foundation don’t skew majority MAGA.

Clearly not in your ridiculous example. I don’t think they arrange for women in their 30s to strip for minors.

If nothing else you can be damn fucking sure they won’t even attempt to fulfil wishes that constitute straight up crimes (such as exposing yourself to a minor).

They likely have some kind of genericly vague catch all term that “wishes have to be in goof faith and good taste”

I don’t think they’d ask Taylor Swift to get naked for a ten year old because that would be illegal, but they’d probably try to arrange for them to meet Taylor Swift

I think that would be a crime.

If this one is successful, the next post will be “How do I fake a terminal illness to get on the Make a Wish list?”

There was that time in the late 1980s when a 13 year old with an inoperable heart condition wish to go to a party at the Playboy Mansion and the story goes that Hugh Hefner was delighted to make it happen.

    Better ask for more wishes.
