No one cares if stuff that’s also on reddit gets posted here.
Memes often get posted on multiple platforms. Recycled. Reposted.
I post stuff I got from other places. I post stuff I made too but mostly it’s images I found elsewhere. No one cares if it’s funny or whatever as long as it isn’t spammed.
Many of us are not using reddit at all anymore. So we aren’t seeing it there anyway.
People care if they know and they blindly upvote if they don’t.
Accounts dedicated to reposting recent upvoted Reddit content is unhealthy for the fediverse.
Why is it unhealthy? As I said. A lot of us don’t use reddit. And memes are posted on multiple platforms. That’s normal.
Not even in a shitpost community.
