In real life they’d be talking about drugs … or quite possibly not at all
I’m going to be pedantic here. First, Simba didn’t know Scar was trying to kill him. Second, he didn’t tell Timon and Pumbaa that his father died. Timon and Pumbaa were a little dickish telling him not to worry without first finding out what his problem was, but they did not have full context
Which was exactly the kind of motivation he needed.
