I just thought it’d be hilarious if a dev named their game, like, “Warhound 2” or something when there was never an original “Warhound” lol (and like, do so seriously, not just as a parody or joke, at least primarily so).
Breath of Death VII does not have any prequels.
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen was subtitled part 5, as Ogre Battle was intended to be a 7 part series, but only 4 games got released.
Threes! Pretty sure there is no Ones! or Twos! preceding it…

There was an old Flash game called Pandemic 2. Iirc, there wasn’t a Pandemic 1, which struck me as odd.
If we’re including n64 style naming convention, Corn Kidz 64. Pretty sure the name got it’s name from the fact it looks and controls like an n64 title. Otherwise, no idea since the obvious, IMO, TF2 was already mentioned.
