for example why is transphobia or homophobia not allowed on almost all social medias? thats just a western value not a universal one.
in african or middle eastern countries for example thats the only correct option is to be homophobic.
so why is social medias based around western values? even ones like tiktok which are chinese.

So the part of the internet that isn’t based around western values is closed off to you.
Homophobia and transphobia are much more western values, lol. They were imposed on hundreds of cultures (often through the imperialist legal system) that previously tolerated gender and sexual diversity prior to European colonization. If you want to learn more, The Gender Binary is a Big Lie by Lee Wind is an accessible introduction to the breadth of cultural understandings of gender and sexuality.
The reason homophobia is rampant in Africa is because of the West. European colonizers were the first to criminalize same-sex relations in Africa. Prior to that, there were small pockets of homophobia and transphobia, but Africa was predominantly genderfluid and sexually fluid, just like everywhere else in the world before Westerners came and fucked it all up.
If you don’t want to talk to people with western values, find a platform in a non-western language. I doubt there’s a lot of western values on WeChat or Douyin. People are going to enforce the behaviour standards they’re comfortable with on their own platform. If you cant find one that fits your preferences, make one.
Truth Social is a Western social media site. No freakin way is that site tolerant of DEI viewpoints.
Not being an ass to others should be a universal value.
There’s no easy way to put this, but some cultural traits are bad. Your homophobia is rooted in broader social pressures imparted onto you by your environment/community. These pressures can mess with your sense of self-worth, but they are usually ripple effects from decades of clinging to religion in dire/traumatic circumstances. You can and should be better.
