I’m talking about like psychiatric medications…
And like the cops show up… they tell you this person is dead, then you have no emotions cuz you literally are unable to express emotions since you’re under effects of medications…
So… do the cops just start suspecting you? Like… I can imagine them being like: holy shit this guy just got news of his [wife/husband/mother/father/son/daughter] getting murdered and doesn’t even react much, he must be the murderer…
(I might’ve watched too many crime documentaries, cuz like you check comment sections on some youtube videos and they’re all armchair-experts like: “Oh this person didn’t react to news of the victim’s death, I aLrEaDy kNeW he/she must be the murderer!”)

Sometimes people don’t react emotionally to shocking news because they’re in shock. Surprising, right? It’s common enough that we named the phenomenon after it. So the part about the police suspecting you only applies if the cops are both idiots and inexperienced. Or fictional and poorly written.
But yes, heavy/inadequate medication can numb people even to the most otherwise horrific events, which I sadly know from personal experience.
