Yeah, it’s all pretty ridiculous. It’s catharsis, not planning. Just like violent movies. Did you know that in Flight Simulator, you can crash in the World Trade Center!?? Also, did you know that in literal sand boxes, they “allow” you to bash other kids with a shovel??

Pfff I’ve been playing video games for 30+ years, this dumb “debate” always comes back like clockwork every election cycle, it seems. Doom was the root of all evil. Then it was Postal. Then Doom again. Then, GTA. Cue many headlines with “hot coffee” in them. Now it’s GTA again, apparently. Just ignore and move on.

Problem is when looking for a job. 3/4 of what I have been applying for asks for a github link to your projects and won’t accept something that doesn’t match ‘github.com’.

Yes but I was finishing episode 9 of the 2nd season going into 10. Then poof, whole season 2 is $29.99. For a show with a bad rating probably because it’s so niche if you’re not from LA it’s a complete dud.

Schedule I. I did everything the game has to offer at the present moment but i still go back to spend an ingame day or 2 making silly drug mixes, selling, doing dumb stuff like pickpocketing cops… It’s just pleasant.

That’s true. For privacy, you need anonymity, and that safe space I use is truly anonymous but as such it as its downsides. As much as we’d love to meet, or organize ourselves into a job seeking network because boy do many of us need it, or simply game online together… we can’t do any of that.

Boy the KOTOR gamefaq guides I had bookmarked were something else. I would have missed so much of the games without them. Instead, I got to see every single possible dialogue line in the games.
