Common sense would dictate that if if presented with a 30 pages contract in small letters in legalese, your usual folk will not get it. I think that’s a common defense.

Nothing so far, I sent the email in the screenshot. If they reply anything other than my membership is cancelled, I’ll require them again to cancel my membership and point to the fact that I requested the cancellation in writing 3 times and if they charge me one more time i’ll tell my lawyer to take them to small courts (I don’t have one but who cares).

I’m not sure why people keep repeating this. I’ve been running both for 6 months without issues (see recent comment about DB maintenance). Maybe it was true before and isn’t true anymore.

Yeah, it’s all pretty ridiculous. It’s catharsis, not planning. Just like violent movies. Did you know that in Flight Simulator, you can crash in the World Trade Center!?? Also, did you know that in literal sand boxes, they “allow” you to bash other kids with a shovel??

Pfff I’ve been playing video games for 30+ years, this dumb “debate” always comes back like clockwork every election cycle, it seems. Doom was the root of all evil. Then it was Postal. Then Doom again. Then, GTA. Cue many headlines with “hot coffee” in them. Now it’s GTA again, apparently. Just ignore and move on.

Problem is when looking for a job. 3/4 of what I have been applying for asks for a github link to your projects and won’t accept something that doesn’t match ‘github.com’.

Yes but I was finishing episode 9 of the 2nd season going into 10. Then poof, whole season 2 is $29.99. For a show with a bad rating probably because it’s so niche if you’re not from LA it’s a complete dud.
