Even Valve gets sued, while being on an open platform and having real competition unlike the single stores on consoles. Next sue Nintendo for having monopoly on handhelds, in the same vein as Sony on consoles and Valve on PC platform.

See, UK, go after Sony. Leave Valve alone.

Valve is not innocent.

While I am a Valve fanboy, I still have to agree that Valve is not innocent. There are stuff I hate about Valve doing. But its not about abusing monopoly position (I even argue its not real monopoly position, but that’s not my main point). So yes, Valve is not innocent, but “leave Valve alone” in the context of accusing them to abuse their monopoly position.

Does Valve refuse to allow third party stores to sell Steam codes like PlayStation is doing here?

No, go after them all.
I personally don’t think Valve is abusing a monopoly position, but it should be tested nonetheless.
Lootboxes and Gambling on the other hand, Gabe has a lot to answer for.

You misplaced the decimal

Fair enough. If you buy a game physically from a store, you still have to buy its DLC and expansions directly from the PS Store, and it can’t be priced competitively.
