    Didn’t he turn it down in preference for what he assumed was the next Superman gig, only to have that cancelled on him? An unfortunate series of events, or so it is theorised anyway

      some of the writers were not or actively disliked the books and games (even actively mocking the source material.)

      Imagine loving a series, getting the chance to do a high-budget TV show, and these are the people behind the script. I’d leave too.

  I know he is a gamer and played The Witcher 3 extensively. I think he must have played that game in full costume at least once, like some kind of video game / tv / book / real life inception.
