As a Canadian, like how this only goes down to -20c, meanwhile we went below -40c in plenty of areas this winter.
Where would you put yourself today?

I experienced -35 in Québec and it was crazy, could feel the inside of my nostrils/sinuses freezing up with every breath.

I was thinking the same about it only going up to 40C. It’s forecast for 48C here tomorrow.

I used to live in Texas. 40c days were not fairly common. A bit warm, but not enough to stop us from enjoying the outdoors. Now I live in Wyoming and -20c is barely barely considered nippy. It’s crazy what the human body can get accustomed to.

We had a 44C day last week in Australia. I enjoy summer, but I deemed that too hot to go outside unless necessary. Of course while letting the dogs out for a pee, I saw some guy returning from a run.

I farm on the Canadian Prairies and I don’t even own a set of long-johns. You can put me in the -30 square wearing a flannel shirt.
I am fucked when it gets over +25C though. I hate it so much.

I’ve been in Canada in the summer, they seemed to tolerate 30°C better than northern europeans

I would take -40 over +40 on any day.

I’ve legit seen Aussies going past swaddled up at only 15 degrees. That’s not even cold yet, lad.

Depends how windy it is.
I had an ex from the Nordics tell me they felt so much colder in Melbourne because of how bloody windy it was.

yep I’m one of them, I run cold so 15 degrees is freezing to me
I’ve been to GP about it and wonder if it’s to do with having bad circulation or small veins or something like this
