I saw an ad for The Register website on Reddit, since then I stopped really being dependent on them and trusting them and to some extent I started thinking more before sharing their articles.
Anyone else like me?

You’re boycotting every single company? Because even the village tailor will occasionally put an ad in the local newspaper.
Nope, only established companies with more than 5 employees.
So…. 99% of businesses? You couldn’t even shop at a farmers market if you exclude 5+ employees.
Well, that’s hope for your sake that one corner shop where you’re still allowed to buy food never hires a 5th employee …
I buycut any bisniss that casts a shadow
Another level 5 buygan I see…
Whenever I see post like this, I promote said company even further to compensate
Ah a contrarian.
and this is a shitpost?
oh. in sidebar:
“Anything and everything goes. Memes, Jokes, Vents and Banter.”
ugh…
I don’t see any adverts due to extensive adblock.
I haven’t found one that works on billboards and posters, yet.

You get to do whatever you want with your money, but a business advertising is a really weird hill to die on. There are terrible small businesses and good established businesses. I think it is worth doing some extra research to find the nuance.
