  First shave with Opuntia. The scent is very slight, but this may be related with me current level of having a cold. The performance of the base is very good as usual with SV soaps. The aftershave is very gelly, and I probably should put the razor back on the stones.

  Oh Reflection! This scent is a recurring mystery to me. It has the tart quality of Weinstrasse, Armonía, and DFTR, but I have no way of describing it, and it flirts with bay, which in more prominent settings makes me nauseous, yet this thing smells good! To add to my confusion, my wife came sniffing me and said “oh, Christmas boy”. I’ve never thought of this as in any way seasonal. I’m going to have to reflect some more on this.

  Shaving with more growth just feels better to me… This is my second time on this edge with this razor. On my old 3k it wouldn’t even take an edge without tape but with my new stone it seems fine. I got a pretty smooth result apart from two small patches that I missed on the second pass.

  Got a “you smell nice” while shaving this morning. May need to snag some Figarose after all.

  59th shave this month, and my face has held up much better than last year. I’ve definitely improved my technique over the last year.

  Some great smells today. Snippid is starting to present itself as a semi-dank greenish scent, so Varen seemed to work nicely with it. Don't get me wrong, though… the scents are a lot different.

  The Slim Adjustable was my very first DE razor. I bought it from u/thebruhestmoments, and in my opinion it worked well as a first razor. I pretty quickly found a sweet spot with setting 3. Today I used setting 4 and it felt nice and mild. Very close shave.
